  1. I wish I still had my 71 S-Bug. Agree it was a very fun car to toss around.
  2. Socks and underwear.
  3. Old Car Weekly has had articles about this car ever since Maruska bought it. Been really interesting following the restoration.

  5. Saw C,S,N here in St. Louis back in the late 80's at the Fox theater. Fantastic show. RIP.
  6. Very nice Vettes guys! Even though I'm a bleed Ford blue guy I do love just about any Vette.
  7. Those do look a bit faster than my old 71 Super Beetle. Very cool series.
  8. RIP my man......another drummer gone. https://www.cnn.com/2023/01/13/entertainment/robbie-bachman-drummer-death-intl-scli/index.html
  9. I want to see the movie but with B-movie actor Frank Grillo and only 7% on Rotten Tomatoes I bet it's not that good.
  10. https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/29/football/brazil-pele-soccer-died-intl-latam-spt/index.html One of my idols as a kid in the 70's. I played soccer for many years.
  11. Stay safe and warm everybody! ?
  12. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your sacrifice and service keeping the USA safe. Even though I never served I always have supported and respected our troops. My Pop was in the Army in the mid-1950's. He was in the motor pool (he loved everything cars) at Fort Dix, NJ. Later he drove a Jeep for a Bird Colonel who insisted having the Jeep completely uncovered and have the wind shield laying on the hood no matter the weather. Pic of his flag at my Mom's place. He passed in 2020 of Parkinson's.
  13. Unfortunately the original mono soundtrack is not on the blu ray. It's only on the old VHS.
  14. It's a mix of scenes from "Gone" and "The Junkman" with added sub plot with Hoyt Akins. It's basically the "movie" that was being made in "The Junkman". It's worth a look but I'd rate it 1 1/2 stars out of 4.
  15. A couple of years ago I did find the original version of the original on VHS for 49 cents at a thrift shop. I also have these and I found the original on blu ray for $3.74 at Walmart.
  16. Sweet ride! I have always liked those cars. Funny you call it the poor mans Ferrari, a friend in high-school had an Opel GT, we used to call that car the poor mans Corvette.
  17. RIP........Liked her in not only in Cheers but Veronica's Closet as well.
  18. Dude, that is one sweet Pony!!!!!! ? Very cool painting as well.
  19. LOVE these 69 cent thrift finds. Going to try and copy to DVD but it's in the EP (Extended Play 6-hour) and not the preferred SP 2-hour. I do have 5 VHS players so one of them should play it good enough to DVD. I'm still a bit sad since I bought this tape. I lost a really good friend back in 2020 who was into all things Fire/Police. He would have loved to watch this tape. RIP.....Rob "Corn Chip".
  20. Sweet project! Love me some Fox Mustang's.
  21. AND T-TOPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would love a t-top hatch. If I could find a t-top hatch in white I would then own..... Red-Convertible White-Hatch Blue-Coupe (notch back) Red, white, blue and all 3 body styles.
  22. Got a Netflix e-mail just like that......delete.
  23. Hendrix, Peace in Mississippi.....
  24. Hendrix, Title #3.......
