  1. Well with my lack of patience and my shaking I think this brush would be a disaster for me. But I do appreciate all suggestions and ideas.
  2. Did you cut the width, how did you do it, it’s very neat. Do you think it would bend?
  3. Real sharp! Who is the model manufacturer?
  4. Not sure if I could bend it, going around the wheel wells ect. But I appreciate the link
  5. Anyone know how to pin stripe a model. It is gold stripping. Don’t think I want to try to mask and paint. Any ideas?

  23. I’ve never worked with a resin body. Are they that different from styrene? What are they like to sand, cut, paint ect. Thanks
  24. Good Day everyone. I have been here for a few months, thought I’d introduce myself. Name is Dave. Built models, lots of them when I was a kid, got back into the hobby in my late 50’s when my wife suggested I get a hobby while on a long motor home trip. Nothing much had changed, except the price. A lot of the kits looked the same, some even came with the same decals as in the 70’s (AMT 58 Impala for example). Once we returned home I discovered aftermarket decals and wheels and tires. I started building mostly 50’s and 60’s cars in an older NASCAR style, but with modern decals of my favourite drivers. I have quite a collection of unused decals and kit that I keep adding to. I enjoy the planning, what colour to use, which decals to pick, tire size and style, as much as the actual build. This is a great place for tips and information, it’s great to see others creations too. Have a great day!
