  1. Anyone got a recommendation for a corvette kit 67 to 71 c2 or c3 that has good brakes to use?
  2. Looks very much blue. Why are there so many dials, rally car afterwards?
  3. I think spark got it wrong when they did it in 1:43, I'm still not 100% sure but looked a dark blue with red wheels, think spark did it in green just to confuse things. I think 300slr wheels look the best
  4. This is a cool project love the subtle changes on this car. Look forward to see how you replicate the grill.
  5. That's an incredible amount of detail and like the camel colours instead of the usual schemes
  6. An mg b aoshima kit is on its way to me so I'll likely do the red factory car from the 64 race.
  7. So plasticards arrived to start making new interior floor and start work on doors. I've already replaced the gaping hole that was once the fuel tank. Will reprime the whole base and paint Matt black. New wheels arrived from demon resins nicely scaled. I have also worked out how to get the engine and suspension all together and installed to the chassis using the 427 test project/diner/build/scrap
  8. Love the scuderia fillipinetti team, a wonderful array of cars they raced
  9. Will be watching this one..a delta S4 is on my wishlist
  10. I've managed to squeeze them.back through but will have a think about what to do on the z28 racer
  11. Hi all, I'm building two camaros one in the race car section and this car as a spare 'learning what not to do on the race car project'. Ive got stuck fitting the engine. I've ended up snapping the installed exhaust headers off to squeeze it in,am I doing something wrong. Worried it'll be same on the z28 race car. This build is the yenko fast and furious kit.
  12. I've seen gt40s racing in historical without roundals, I don't think I saw any in rectangles but can't see a reason why it wouldn't have.
  13. Cheers, I think I'll likely build the real cars cage but interior lay out more like this, dash looks a lot less hacked up and messy I think.
  14. Went for black like the real car. Will tidy up air filter. Any tips for wiring up this engine, air filter seems right in the way and manifold will be difficult to get plugs in. Also (I'm not a mechanic or knowledgable on these things) Real car has no fan, an extra drive and belt, could somebody enlighten me why and what it's for. I may try replicate this
  15. Having a debate with what to do about painting the exhaust the real car is black, but given I've already decided to go rouge with the bright red performance engine. I'm debating whether to keep the black exhaust, or go for white for some more colour and contracts especially for the under side. What do we think?
  16. Foiling looks good, I'm yet to even think about trying it! Underside looks smart and like the fact there's different shades and colours.
  17. Shape looks good, look forward to seeing both these come to life
  18. Will follow both builds a very cool suject
  19. That's ended up coming out a stunning model. Hats off to you!
  20. Thanks for the tip. Engine work started, one is the correct engine the other is the yenko engine, building that up working out what not to do then building the engine I'll use. Used some printed carbs on the correct engine, I decided to go with bright red for the engine block as opposed to black/grey on real car to give a bit more colour.
