  1. Nice build. Very realistic weathering.
  2. The Modelhaus sells a similar tire and wheel set. It's part #T-800 medium duty truck tires and wheel set.
  3. Cool project. I look forward to seeing how this turns out. You see these trucks from time to time at hotrod shows.
  4. Excellent work. I picked up this kit at the NNLWest last January and I hope it's even half as good as yours.
  5. Good work on an iconic movie car.
  6. Nice combo!
  7. Cool boulevard cruiser. Good job.
  8. If the kit is currently in production, I open it right away just in case I need to request a replacement part from the manufacturer. Using the instructions, I thoroughly inventory and examine every part. I make sure the body isn't warped and the clear parts are not cracked or scratched. I also bag up the tires, clear parts and decals if they are not already bagged from the manufacturer, especially the tires. Tires seem to ruin clears parts and decals. Last November I bought Revell's 1962 Impala SS and was shocked to find the body had a crushed roof. I usually request replacement parts from Revell but in this case I just exchanged the kit for another one from the store. It paid to open the kit right away.
  9. I've seen at CVS drug stores 1/32 1950's and 1960's diecast toy cars for around $5.00 a few years ago.
  10. Cool lowrider. I never considered this model as a lowrider subject but you pulled it off. Good job.
  11. I was thinking of this conversion but the door shape on the 49 Merc wagon threw me off. With the tips I learned on this thread, I might try this conversion.
  12. I hope they enjoy their retirement. Too bad to see them go. Time to start ordering parts and kits.
  13. Good progress so far. I plan on doing the same build using the Revell 1965 Chevy p/u kit.

    Cool boulevard cruiser.
  15. Good job. I plan on combining the same Ford p/u kits to make a replica of my dad's work truck.
  16. Cool custom pickup. Good choice of body color and wheel/tires.
  17. Good job on the replica.
  18. Cool Monte Carlo. Well built and finished. This car looks good factory stock or lowrider.
  19. Nice builds. I agree with the others that the updated wheels really improve the ZZ Top Eliminator.
  20. Neat Impala. The black wheels contrast well with the white body. Good job.
  21. I have both factory stock and custom versions in my "to do" pile. I hope they come out as nice as yours.
  22. Sweet El Camino. There is very good article in the Rodder's Journal #42 on the builder of the 1/1 '59 El Camino.
  23. The '29 Ford looks awesome. Looks like Revell is once again lightening my wallet. Keep 'em coming Revell!
  24. Hot Wheels have given me some ideas for builds. I plan on building the AMT 1958 Edsel like Hot Wheels Boulevard white and silver custom 1958 Edsel.
  25. Another awesome show. Thanks to the organizers, fellow builders and vendors for making a great show. I am already looking forward to next year whenever it will be. It was announced that due to the Superbowl next year, held across the street from the convention center, the show's date will be pushed back.
