  1. Nice job on the resto. The polished plastic looks like it was painted.
  2. Cool pair of gassers!
  3. Looks sharp!
  4. It turned out fine. These are the kinds of models that make us better builders.
  5. Neat custom. All of the custom parts work well on this car.
  6. Good job on the clean up. All that counts is that you are satisfied with it.
  7. Well done street machine!
  8. My favorite car movie for sure. A couple of years back I bought the Bluray edition. It's amazing how clear and vivid the movie is on Bluray.
  9. Looks good. The surfboard and cooler are a nice touch.
  10. Nice build. Good addition to your collection.
  11. Cool boulevard cruiser. You got all the components correct for a period correct 1960's custom. Good job!
  12. Good build. The red interior works great with the body color. The slotted mag wheels really set it off.
  13. Anyone thinking of building the '58 Impala should check out the reference pics of the original movie car on this website. www.xframechevy.com/the-real-american-graffiti-58-impala/
  14. I was in the Hobby Lobby in Morgan Hill, CA last Saturday and I also found the shelves empty. If I don't find a kit that interests me, I usually use the coupon on paint or some other finishing supply. I used the coupon on Tamiya white primer. Good deal!
  15. Gassermadness has been revived. See attached link, http://www.gassermadness.us/ . Nice to have it back!
  16. Good job on the save. The wheel/tire combo works very well on this car.
  17. I can't believe I missed this thread last year. Excellent job on the woody wagon Art. This is the best build I have seen of this kit. Thanks for sharing your wood graining techniques!
  18. Looks sharp!
  19. I have seen both episodes and have liked it so far. It just goes to show that car guys are the same no matter what part of the world they are from. The Cuban car guys share the same passion, frustration and joy of the antique car hobby as everyone else in the world.
  20. I had the same problem with an ebay glue bomb. It was a '64 Cadillac coupe and the engine compartment was stuffed with cotton balls. Took out the cotton balls and let the model air out in the patio for a few days.
  21. Good looking Monte. Looks nice factory stock.
  22. Good question. I just picked up the same kit and was thinking doing the same thing.
  23. You can download the instructions straight from Round 2's website. www.round2models.com .
  24. Good review. At last year's Billetproof show in Antioch, CA they had a special area for vintage hot rod boats. Pretty cool!
