My wife always tells me that "thinning the heard" means "getting rid of, not replacing", Lol. I'm trying to do the same thing myself. My "stash' is small compared to some guys in the clubs I'm in (I'm at around 450). But there are a few new & upcoming releases, that I can't wait to get my hands on...

Yeah, I'm with you on that. I picked up an ambulance at a swap meet that was partially started, and the box is falling apart. I'll probably build that one, and just keep this one. In my opinion, rebuilders are much more challenging and fun to build, than a brand-new kit. I wouldn't mind picking up some more Johan kits, if I can do so without breaking the bank, Lol.
