  1. Good looking Ford, and that weathering is amazing!
  2. Great looking build. That two-tone combination looks amazing!
  3. Beautiful! I love those factory 60's colors.
  4. Very nice! That blue looks great on that big ol' Poncho.
  5. Very nice! I just won the new release of this kit, in a raffle at last week's show in Va.
  6. That's a beautiful old Chevy!
  7. That is beautiful! That interior really gets your attention.
  8. Very nice! That paint is beautiful.
  9. Beautiful build! I've always loved this version of the Lightning way more than the newer step-side. I also couldn't agree more about the wheels & tires, but AMT did so well on their truck kits in the 90's with everything else in the kits.
  10. Not 100% happy with my efforts on this one. Paint should have been better, and the decals didn't lay down well, causing them to bubble up under the clear....
  11. Good read of an excellent build! Sometimes it's nice to hear a detailed back story, on how the final product came about.
  12. That's the best I've ever seen that kit look. That black is amazing! I'm a bit envious.
  13. I'm going to attempt that for the first time on my current build. My club has two annual build-offs. One at Christmas where we all build the same kit, and the other in July that's called "It's all in the cards" Challenge. We draw two cards (from two different decks). One card is a "Theme", and the other is a "Build Style". The "Theme" is tv/movie (one of mine) racing, full custom, etc. The "Build Style" is weathered (my 2nd card), rat rod, phantom, etc. Since I have two "Supernatural" Impalas, I'm attempting a rusty beater (the show is partially based in Ohio, after all).
  14. That is beautiful! I really love the dash. I guess you hand-painted that?
  15. Looking good! I almost came home with one Saturday, at the MDA show. I also came across an AMT 76 Matador kit, that was open/unbuilt.
  16. That looks amazing! I love the weathered look. Did you use the "salt method" to do that?
  17. You still managed to get a great looking build, with all of your extra effort. That red & tan look great together! I almost picked up a "California Wheels" version at Saturday's MDA show. Another vendor had the "Street-burner" version. You can still find the original Blue molded version for $5-$10 at a show/swap meet.
  18. That's one good looking truck! That blue is one of my favorite colors. I have an original GMC long-bed that an older friend gave to me. I might have to dig it out now that I've seen this beauty.
  19. Beautiful replica! I love those "High Impact" Mopar colors.
  20. Nice clean build. That green paint is beautiful!
