  1. That's beautiful! I love that color, and how you complimented it with the wheel centers. Another detail some builders overlook is the sanding of tire tread.
  2. That is a great looking build. The paint is beautiful!
  3. That's awesome! I love your creativity, and the extra detail you put into this build.
  4. Beautiful work! I remember watching that show.
  5. That's a really cool "oldie but goodie" build!
  6. We here in NC have lost a couple of long-running shows, due to issues with the event spaces. Whether it's new owners or "politics," it saddens me to have lost these events. It seems like unless you have a connection of some kind, with an event space, you're just S.O.L. I'm reaching out to churches, but not getting anywhere. I also have a contact in the local school system but have not yet received a response. My home church has some ground level rooms, but they might not be large enough. I enjoy the fellowship of these events as much as competing in the contest. It's interesting how far people will travel to attend or put on a show/swap meet. I'm not ready to give up, but it's starting to get frustrating.
  7. great looking old truck! Those wheels & tires really look amazing.
  8. That is absolutely gorgeous! I love old ambulances.
  9. Great looking build!
  10. Excellent build. That paint is amazing!
  11. That's beautiful! The two-tone looks amazing, especially since you matched the interior& exterior.
  12. Very nice! I love the two-tone, and how you carried that over into the interior.
  13. I knew about it it well in advance, but my wife and I decided it was too far for a day trip. If you go to the IPMS All Events Calendar, it shows every scheduled event for the whole calendar year. There are links to each event, with the forms you need for registration & entry.
  14. We're going to have to wear name tags or something, Lol. I really would like to meet you in person, since we've chatted on here so much. Heck, we probably have actually talked and didn't realize it!
  15. It's over 3 hours for me to drive, but several of my fellow club members go (and they drive from the Raleigh area- an additional hour & a half!). I've heard it's a great event, and with the demise of some NC events that I was attending, I may just have to suck it up and plan on attending next year.
  16. That's yet another example, of the excellent weathering we're used to seeing from you. So realistic! That's a heck of a motor for an old farm truck though.
  17. That is beautiful! It definitely looks like the well cared for, seldom driven older truck you described. That paint is amazing!
  18. That's a great example of "Redneck Engineering" at it's finest!
  19. That is a beautiful piece of racing history!
  20. That's beautiful! You definitely nailed the "Street Outlaw" look for sure.
  21. That's beautiful! I especially love the color.
