  1. I started on a white metallic version of the Coronet last night. I am going to build this pretty much straight out of the box. I am practicing so I can build a red replica of my 1:1 car but fully detail etc. I actually like the lines and the car is a good looking car and compares in most areas pretty well with my 1:1 car. I hate the grill I have to say. I probably won't do much to this practice build but anyone have success in using the original AMT grill on the P/L car or drilling out the headlights and making the Polar Lights grill look more realistic? Thanks everyone.
  2. That is beautiful.
  3. Beautiful Roadrunner. I own a 1965 Coronet that was bought new by Buddy back in the day.
  4. Well done on the build. Interesting story on the fuel. Thanks
  5. Very nice. I think the wires actually look very good which is saying something for most kits.
  6. Looks great.
  7. I could use a red (have a a white) hardtop maybe if isn't too far in the future I will just pick up a new one. The Polar Lights unbuilt can be expensive. Thanks for the info.
  8. Looks great and good luck with those grills

  10. I love the build. Years ago (1970) I built the Johan kit but never built the Monogram. You did an excellent job.
  11. Loving the ralley wheels. The Roadrunner looks very authentic.

  21. Cool car. My parents had a four door sedan 1962 225 when I was a kid. Kinda got a soft spot in my heart for them.
