  1. I never heard of it until a few weeks ago. I will be trying it here soon as I finish up my current nightmare kit! Thanks guys.
  2. Great idea and your right I never do a headliner,.
  3. Thanks! That is a good idea. So where the bare metal is around the letters the paint keeps the foil down?
  4. So here in the next week or so I am going to start building my Jo Han 69 Roadrunner. The emblems on the doors and the rear trunk need to be chromed either with Bare Metal Foil or a Molotov pen. I have read an article on how builders will bare metal the emblems after priming but before painting and then rub the paint off the emblems after the paint sets up. Have any of you builders tried this? I have never done that before but because of the amount of emblems on the Roadrunner I want to try it if it works. Thanks for tips or help.

    Ken MIles GT40

    Great replication.
  6. Very very nice.
  7. Very nice!
  8. Nice job. I have the Keith Mark's Heavy Chevy decals that I want to build a 72 kit I have. Just one those projects that didn't get done yet.

    73 Porsche RS

Thanks! Maybe after I finish the EZ Snap Revell 356 1:16 I could get busy on that Fujimi! i am being a bit sarcastic on the EZ Snap.

    73 Porsche RS

Well it looks good from here. I have the 356 Fujimi kit and kinda scared to build it for all the reasons you mention.
  12. I know the feeling. I think I will build a Jo Han 69 Roadrunner as my next build but before the next two weeks I may change my mind! Lol!
  13. I am building the Porsche 356 1:16 right now and it is well done. The body etc look correct to me. I wonder why the 911 hasn't been done also. The kit is not an ez snap kit by any stretch of the imagination btw.
  14. The kit overall is a nice kit. The interior is a nightmare to get into the body. I ended up clipping off the two front attachment points from the interior section and it went in okay. The windows are tough. Do not put the windshield in before the interior it will just pop out on you. If you watch Chris’ video I think it is hpiguys workshop he gives a ton of pointers. If when you start building it and have any difficulties just let me know I will try to help.
  15. Randy once again you are build hero! Great Job.
  16. Nice. Not to age myself but I had a promo of the 63 as a convertible as a kid. Totally forgot about that until I saw your post. Thanks
  17. Loved that when you built it. I think I used it as a guide for my build along with Tim Boyd's build.
  18. Can paints that you paint once or twice and the nozzle clogs no matter what I do. Air brushing has its advantages........
  19. Not quite done with this yet but man this has been a difficult model to build. The interior going in to the body and then the glass mounting on the outside of the body after the interior is in. I have had a hard time with this kit. So much for easy snap! I think it will still end up looking okay but would not recommend this for a newbie at model car building. I should be able to post finished pictures by early next week.
  20. Looks great. I wish I could paint wsw or redlines like that. Anyhow I am having fits with the kit I am building now and seriously asking myself if I have ever built a kit before. Anyhow great job and keep up the good work.
  21. What scale? Looks nice. 1/43 or 1/24?
  22. Nice looking build, great job.
  23. Received my set of Jo Han redlines from Modelhaus tires. I will be starting the Jo Han 69 Roadrunner at some point in December. Very nice quality
  24. Not to high jack this thread but just ordered this to do a black out on the hood of a 69 Jo Han Roadrunner. Thanks
