I'm not so sure about that. AMT was not sold to Lensey until 1978. I have a 1975 AMT catalog that has the 1/43 truck kits listed and pictured. Pretty sure those were tooled up in the Troy Michigan facility.

As stated in the original post, I am looking to trade for Revell 50 Oldsmobile custom, Revell Foose Cadillac, or Revell 49 Mercury wagon or 49 Mercury custom.

Thanks for the info. I was basing my listing on memory of a neighbor having a similar Capri in the mid 70's. As far as putting it on eBay. Never again. Got tired of being ripped off with their fees.

Testors Model Master Jade Grenade 1/25 scale multimedia kit motorcycle kit Cool looking V-twin custom motorcycle. Multimedia kit, with resin, photo etch and white metal parts. Picked this up at a club meeting about 10 years ago. Appears to be complete with all the tiny bits. Capri resin and vacuform plastic kit Don't know much about this one. Possibly German made? Resin body, wheels, bumpers, grille, front seats, dash, steering wheel. Soft black resin tires. Vacuformed interior tub chassis plate and windows. Metal exhaust tips. This one has no instructions, but I'm quite confident that it's complete. (Edit: appears to possibly be missing two wheel backs) Looking to trade for Revell 50 Oldsmobile custom, Revell Foose Cadillac, Revell 49 Mercury wagon or coupe.

The extra effort to make the kit roof look factory really paid off... Your color choices make for a subtle yet stunning presentation. VERY well done.👍

Beautiful build! I'm loving the stance and engine updates. I built one pretty much box stock when the kit was first released, back around 1978.... It's long gone, but your build has inspired me to track down another one and give it a go.👍

Your patina is spot on... With it's lowered stance and wheel/tire combo that looks like it would be one fun truck in real life. 👍

I started with the Revell Foose 56 F100, built mostly box stock... Changes include tweaking the stance just a bit, modifying the kit wheels to accept those large diameter Arrowhead Specialties Astro-Vette Moon style aluminum disc wheel covers. Other additions were the tonneau cover from AMT's '53 F100 kit (shortened 1/8"), and stock style taillights and stock rear bumper from Revell's old tool '56 F100. Paints used are all Tamiya.... Chrome Yellow, Racing White, and Semigloss Black.... Decals are from Mr. Model. Under hood changes were limited to a MAD pre-wired distributor and Altered States Cadillac air cleaner... Any good shop truck needs to earn it's keep, so this one is being put to work as tow vehicle for a little land speed streamliner... The mini streamliner is a resin copy of the one originally found in AMT's '63 F100 annual kit. It was cast solid, so the cockpit had to be ground out so it could be fitted with a small seat and steering wheel/dash from the parts stash. Exhaust trumpets are actually short injector tubes from Parts By Parks. Decals are, again, from Mr. Model as well as some markings that I drew up on my computer. The trailer comes from a Revell Midget Racer kit and was modified with wider ramps and MOON aluminum disc wheel covers from Scale Repros.

I am diggin' on this thing so frickin hard!!!!!😎 I have looooooong wanted to build model of the original High & Mighty, but never seem to actually get around to it. (With too many ideas of my own, I suck at building replicas) Your build here has got me thinking maybe it would be cool to throw a H&M inspired 51 Chevy into the mix 😁
