  1. Got a panicked call from my wife earlier this afternoon. She had gotten one of those texts and was freaking out. Wanted to know if it was alright with me if she used my credit card to pay.... I told her to STOP!!! Pointed out that we don't have an EZ pass account. Do my tolls as pay by plate. I did have an ez pass account many years ago, but cancelled it when my transponder was stolen out of the car (along with our handicapped parking placard) when I ran into the grocery store without locking it ... People are scum.
  2. Right back at you my friend... Thanks for a great trade!
  3. I'll be watching this one for sure... Love the mocked up stance!
  4. Nice!!! Wish that I had not sold my Johan Cutlass kit a while back!!!
  5. Been playing around a bit more with this little project... Bashed together a straight axle front suspension, using aluminum tubing, soft steel wire, and a transverse spring from my extensive junk bin.ī Scratched up some basic ladder bars and shackles for the rear... Really liking how it's sitting....
  6. A couple more great traders.... falcon wagon and pullin4dejr. Would deal again with these guys anytime!!!
  7. Right back at you Matt.... Thanks for an awesome trade!
  8. I actually really like that kit and your choice of paint and graphics makes for a really great looking model!!! I built one a few years back.... https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/155119-1980-corvette-funny-car/
  9. Have you ever gotten to the point in a build where you're waiting for some glue and paint to dry.... So you decide to look at some other model in the stash, and the next thing you know you're slinging glue at a car that you had no intention of building??? (At least not yet) This is the story of one such project.... While waiting for some glue and paint to dry on my '62 Dart fuel coupe the other evening, a Pyro 1/32 scale '37 Chevy kit that I had recently scored happened to catch my eye.... The next thing I know I'm gluing together the multi-piece body and digging through the box of bits from them old Monogram Hemi Fiat/Boss Willys/Ford Screamer 1/32 scale drag kits... Stuff that I have been gathering over the past few years.... After about an hour of playing around with the Dremel, and gathering all the right parts, this is what I had.... Now it's time to get back to the Dart😁😁😁😁😁
  10. Testing from Fotki Adds an extra step, which is a pain, but it will work for now.
  11. Same issues here. I have the " manage images" button, but it won't let me delete anything. This is a PITA!!!
  12. I've gotten a couple of those... Simply reported them as spam and moved on. It's been about a week now since I got the last one.
  13. Several items of interest on that list... I'll have to dig through my stuff and see what I have that you are looking for. Just out of curiosity, what qualifies as NASCAR's grey side era? 1980s perhaps?
  14. Went to pick up some deodorant while shopping at the local Walmart store yesterday. I was shocked to find it all locked away in a case. Had to track down an associate to open the case and get it out for me. She then loaded it into a smaller locked plastic case, which the cashier had to remove it from at checkout... This is just for freaking Right Guard solid deodorant!!!! I asked why... If deodorant was a high theft item? Was told that it was because there had been numerous incidents of people opening and using the products in the store and then putting it back on the shelf... I have got to wonder, what the heck is wrong with some people????
  15. Another pair of great trades, with Rocketman 455 and Rescued Customs.... Thank you, gentlemen!
  16. The weather has finally come around enough to make painting outdoors easier, sooooo..... Yesterday morning I grabbed the Testors Dark Bronze and laid down a couple of light coats, followed by one good wet one a couple of hours later. This morning I did the same with Tamiya TS-13 clear... Much better results this time around!
  17. This is such a very cool project... I look forward to following your progress!!!! You mentioned a 3D printed chassis, but what was the source of body?
  18. A big shout-out to Tarheel Rick for an awesome and fun trade!!!! I thank you, my good man!
  19. Oldsmobile would not have portholes... You may be thinking of the AMT Buick Special wagon.
  20. Would love to see your builds of these kits. Such cool cars!
  21. Just wrapped up a couple of great trades with JollySipper and Dave Branson. Thanks guys
  22. Cool project. Just wondering where those awesome wheels came from.
  23. Shout-out to Rescued Customs for a fun painless trading experience!
  24. I have a built JoHan '61 F85 Wagon, that I picked up at a farm toy show several years ago. It's all there except for the taillights. Can anybody help me out with a pair. Plating condition is not important. Thanks
