  1. Welcome Sam! Great bunch here mate.
  2. Welcome Paul. New member myself and have been made very welcome. The one great thing I have found it's very easy to post on here.
  3. Welcome from a fellow Aussie Dave. Only been on here for a little while myself and so far nothing but good people saying good stuff! BTW, nice Torana mate. Back in the day me (and everyone else) bidded at an auction for one of these (4.2 L from memory). Missed out on it but won top bid on a 4.3 L CL Charger. No regrets to this day and wish I still had it!
  4. What a smoothie! Excellent build and presentation.
  5. Super neat! A treat to look at.
  6. Thanks for the positive comments all. Just need to sort out my photography techniques! ?
  7. Bee-utifull! Love this Studebaker model.
  8. Thanks Oliver! I've got a bunch of completed models but first I need to sort out my camera use skills (virtually non-existent!).
  9. Thanks again everybody for looking in and commenting. From memory the taillights had slightly raised edges which made it easier to highlight by brush with silver paint. One of the reasons I use acrylics exclusively is it's far easier to correct and remove mistakes.
  10. Real nice! Total improvement.
  11. Easily one of my favourite AMT kits. I've got two others in the stash to do stock and drag versions. This one is a fictional creation with kit parts.
  12. Nice work. Haven't decided what colour to do the one I have in the stash- tempted to do the same as yours!
  13. Whoa! Love that paint!
  14. Splendid model and setting!
  15. Beautiful work. Striking colour too!
  16. Some nice detail work and creative cross-kitting too. I'm betting that 308 would give this a bit more pep than the Hudson it came from! ?
  17. What a treat to look at! Superb work all round.
  18. Super nice! That paint colour is something else.
  19. Thanks for the supportive comments everybody! Correct on the use of BMF for most of the trim, though the wheel arches are silver acrylic paint (Citadel Stormhost Silver) brushed on. I no longer use BMF since getting hold of a Molotow liquid chrome pen which in spite of thinking it would be, is NOT the answer to all chrome trim problems , but certainly is to 90% of them!
  20. Thanks David. The wheels came from the Revell 58 Impala kit while the plates are Photoshop creations which I've found is perfect for such things.
  21. Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!
  22. VERY nice work on this. Flawless paint- I envy your skill!
  23. Uh, yum. The wheelbase cut is so smoothly executed!
  24. Cheers Donato. Looking forward to it!
  25. First model post. A while back my brother and nephew went halves with a purchase of one these. The nephew got married so now with more important financial priorities, the car had to go. He could no longer have the real thing, so I built this Revell 1/25 (with the SS badges removed) for him. Pretty much represents the car he had. Thanks for looking!
