1970 Pontiac Firebird in Lucerne blue (1/24 Monogram/Revell)

STUNNING. What a gorgeous model. -
Thanks everyone for looking in and taking the time for posting kind comments. I have another example in the stash - the Original Art issue from a while back that will definitely be getting the gasser treatment!

Nice build! To my eye the 68 and 69 Chargers were the best looking of all. Almost a tragedy the producers of The Dukes Of Hazzard demolished so many of the then remaining 69s.

Now that is one fine model! Looks great!

Welcome Martin. You sound like you have a very focused and dedicated approach to model building so looking forward seeing to your work on here.

What a beast! Nicely built. -
Neat little package this! Beautifully built mate.
-
Way cool! Nicely built Dennis.
-
Wow! Everything great about this! Man, those wheels/tyres.......?
-
Great job! Those neat hubcaps come with the kit?
-
Yep. I'm using the blown Buick engine from this kit in a 34 Ford truck.
-
Nice Celica! Well done.
-
Nice build! Colour really suits too.

The full size and AMT kit are a firm favourite with me. Main gripe with the model is when you trim the hood to fit snugly the silver trim strip doesn't line up. Aagh! I chose the least obvious of the evils and propped up the hood with a couple of spacers glued to the inside rear so the trim strip lines up with the rest of the body. Thanks for looking!

Interesting take on the 240Z! Epic effort on reproducing this one Matt.
-
Wow! That would certainly turn heads! Is that a '32 Ford grille there?
-
Accurate or not, great build Mark!
-
Real nice! Lace effect turned out well.
-
Nice work David! Timely post this; I have this kit in my stash that I was planning to build soon (though not as a convertible) and thanks to you I know what likely problems to deal with.
-
Neat, trim model. Has a nice atmosphere to it.

Bit of a brute. Love it!

Nice model! The colour is knock-out!
