  1. Fudruckers where? I'd like to share some of that blus stuff with you guys.....
  2. Guys, I have been trying to aquire a Bud or Army T/F kit for some time now and it seems they are made from "unobtanium"....(Revell, you hearing this)....So I have some older kits that I'd like to convert to newer T/F specs. Anyone know where I can get some???? Thanks,
  3. Can anyone comment on how accurate the Model King Challenger F/C is???? I have one OTB right now and am debating another, as somehow, I have decals for 4 Challenger F/C's...TIA!!
  4. Dave, Not too sure about vendors, but why not try some of the more readily available turbo kits. I have picked up a couple Callaway Turbo Corvettes off the bay for around $12 shipped to me. I is perfect fo build two turbo charged small block Chevies..... Good luck man....
  5. HMMM Interesting....... I may have to try this one......
  6. Chris, Thanks for the info, I wasn't really worried, just more interested in what typical turn around times and such were is all. No issues, I put the mention about emailing me because I know some people, are afraid to say anything out loud is all. I am psyched to get craking on my 55 is all.... Thanks......
  7. Andy, Thanks for all the great information....Digger frame, are we talking like the Revellogram chassis? Anywho, I build some by the book and some real close. The reason for looking for the pics was to see just "how close" I could get and if it is only kinda close, then it becomes a "shelf quickie".... But I will keep all yuor info in mind as I research this one.... Thanks again Andy...... ps: Love that 59 Caddy.....
  8. I notice a picture of a Ramchargers Duster Funny Car.....Just the thing for one of those Cop Out Dusters I picked up last week. Anyone have a pictures of this thing from another angle than the rear shot in my book? Also, any ideas on basic Ramchargers color schemes? Chassis, engine and tin work colors??? Thanks in advance....
  9. Guys.... Thanks for all the input, sounds like I am going acetate sheet hunting.....I may give the future method a shot also... I will post some pics once I get there.... Thanks again....
  10. I am working on getting parts together for my gasser pick up build and wanted my glass and dash to closely match in color. Any one ever try to dye the glass with RIT Cloth dye???? I wanna give this a try......... Let me know your thouhgts
  11. I got a little ovezealous the other day and ordered a bunch of parts from them. Normally I would do some research first, but this time I did not. They have some neat Pro Mod parts and bodies listed. Anyone have any dealings with them? Time frame for delivery??? Anything I need to "know"? Feel free to send me a message directly if you feel the need... Thanks...
  12. Milt, I think harry hit the nail on the head......Take out or cook on your own it is all food. I buys some diecast because that is the only way the subject is available, or it is something I like and the price was right. My latest was a Fresh Cherries 85 Buick T-Type, $7.00 a little wax and it is done...... Just my 2 cents.....
  13. I dig it....There is something to be said for those quicky, rat rod-esque builds.....
  14. Jeff, First, welcome aboard....Second, I sold a restorable built up on Ebay for $40.....I'd imagine a nice clean unbuilt kit may go for $125-$150, or better... good luck....
  15. Well, thanks to Harry P, leading me to Photobucket, I can finally post pics here again. So until I get some new pics of my latest builds, here is one I finished some time ago, built only from parts box parts. This one was my first real attempt at any "serious weathering" practices....No where near some others, but I think a good start.... Used a sectioned 32 grill shell that I ruined as far as another build was concerned.... The headders, IIRC, came from 2 Revell Rat Rod pick up kits.... And the interior is covered in my version of some old diner bench seat vinyl...(Gotta be a Jersey thing) It was a fun, quick build that I used to try and learn some new "skills" if you will. As always, questions and comments welcome.... Once again thanks to Harry P for telling me about Photobucket
  16. Matt, I love it, the color, power plant, channel job, it is awesome...Can you share some details on the channel job? I understande what a channel job is, but where do you make your cuts? Just the lowers of the body and interior? I asle becuase my 2nd 32 Sedan is calling for a serious channel job like this... Thanks again!!!!
  17. Well? Do I need to upload more pics tonite????
  18. Harry.....Thanks, I was hoping someone would mention another free site that works....
  19. David, Thanks, any idea why that is???? Yes, no time like the present to teach "defensive driving"......
