  1. Just ordered some of the T/A's and Eagles today!!!!
  2. Mark...Wicked color for sure, diggin this build.,...I have one on the bench, going gasser, another that will be a mild kustom, and planning a third to build the Mexican Road Race version... As for speed parts, the tri-power manifold from the Revell Merc seems to fit ok in the "checking" that I did on mine. One other thing, other than shorter springs, did you do anything else to lower the front end? Thanks and cannot wait to see this one finished...
  3. Dave, I'm in, money sent....You are the man for taking this on, I am proud to know you.... ~LG
  4. This kit is a great source of gasser parts, IMHO....I have trashed several previous versions for the parts, and plan to pick up the current issue, and actually build a Bad Man this time around....
  5. OK, I'll play, here are a couple......
  6. Charlie, Slixx has a sheet designated for the JJ Camaro(s). It is sheet number z1271/JJFC. Good luck!
  7. Check with MAS, I snagged a killer pair of machined/photoetched spoked fronts from them @ NNL East last year, sorry I didnt get more
  8. Eight months? Are you sure, I know Al quite well and couldn't imagine that being the case. Did you contact him again to discuss?
  9. Or you could always modify the other wheel opening to match the other?
  10. Andy, You may want to give Harbor Freight a try, I just picked up one of their air brush kits, on sale for $7.98. It isn't my Aztec by any means, but if ya want to get started with an airbrush @ a really low cost, this is the ticket. Good Luck
  11. The really amusing part of this is how familiar this story sounds around Lookout Model, duh sorry, I mean Dencon resin. I noticed last night while doing a search for some resin parts, he is now selling on Ebay under a another name, man... Good luck guys...
  12. Keith, I have two air brushes and use them as little as possible...I would suggest a couple things for you to try. The first being I would use a black nozzle from one of the Testors lacquer products, as they tend to produce a better spray pattern, and secondly warm the can up. Run it under warm/hot water under the sink, USE CARE here, you do not to make it too hot. Or if the silver sprayed is a lacquer product, you may want to try a Tamiya "clear" spray, and they spray much nicer, and will make getting a "candy" finish a little easier.
  13. Al @ Ma's Resin has been up to some really good stuff lately including these.... That's right finally an accurate set of modern DOT Drag Radials.... I should have my set any day now, once I do I will post some more pics, those of you familiar with Ma's know the quality Al puts into all his products. If you've never purchased anything from him, what better time than the present.....
  14. Dan, I just picked up a can of Duplicolor Torch Red, and Arctic White, both current Corvette colors. Got them from Auto Zone.
  15. Jason, Sorry for the delay, been tied up with end of year work issues, and gettting over being sick. I will get snoball in the mail next week. ~Tks
  16. Nice build, I have a set of those decals too....Maybe time to get it out...
  17. For me personally, it is quite simple. I do what I can and when I am pleased I stop. For example, I like the idea of hoses and wires under the hood of a model, but not if it makes it look too busy or congested, make sense? Another thing I have noticed over the past couple years, everything I have started that was to have lots and lots of detail, plug wires, hoses, electrial connections, etc, are still sitting on the bench or in boxes no yet completed. However, the "quick" or "shelf" builds have been done and on display. I do one show a year, NNL East, and it is peoples choice, so if I do decide to show something, I dont worry about judges. All the other times, friends, family see what I have built. My greatest reward, has been as of late, building with my four year old, and hearing him tell me how cool it is to build a model with dad. Long and short of it, build to you are happy...
  18. Jason, you have a PM.
  19. Niko....Looking good, one of my all time favortie kits....
  20. I too use this method, and have never been disappointed with my results, for plates, mag covers or boxes...
  21. BANG....ya nailed it, I love it.... Looks like anohter build to add to the list....
  22. I am with Chuck, they are like drugs....
  23. Jason, Lookin fine, I have one of those on my list too, along with ALL the others....
