  6. ...........decals on , once more with some decal set then clear coat tomorrow
  7. .........I'm building up a nice 3D print Hemi by Texas3D Customs,,it's single plug but I can fudge another set on ..I can use the Dominator carbs from the JoHan kit....... I have 1 Torqueflite ,have to rob one out of another kit to make the Clutchflite and cut a bellhousing off another
  8. ....................I should have removed/filled in the gas cap ,,,pretty sure that was blanked over
  9. ...............shot the colors today (they're flat ) over the Tamiya base... a little wet sand on the tape line apply the decals then clear coat

  11. ...........try Bedlam Creations ,he did decals for my Autocar wrecker and Teachers Pet Plymouth ,,he will need exact size /font/colors and pictures >> Bedlam Creations - Creators of custom waterslide decals for guitars, miniatures, models, and more!
  12. ...............the GTX would have had either the standard 2 speed wiper or 3 speed ,,the horn would be your black one (but I'm pretty sure they were dual horns) lol
  13. ................what we are saying is the instructions are incorrect
  14. ............and there were 2 different wiper motors, the standard 2 speed and the 3 speed which was standard with Air Grabber cars in order to clear the air cleaner the black one is the 2 speed ,the cad plated is the 3 speed
  15. ............they had both styles of horns in that kit,,the standard one (your black one) and the one that the instruction sheet calls out for the wiper motor, when in fact it should be painted light purple and installed as the "Voice of the Road Runner" (was the actual decal on the horn) ,,,the 68 hood side facing scoops were non functional with the engine call outs inserted,,the 69 car had (with the Air Grabber option) had functional intakes which faced up and were either black or orange-red
  16. ..........pro stock scoop on.........body primed, did a test shot of the paint fade,,every picture of this version of the car shows different shades,,,,so ,,I rolled the dice on this,,,Tamiya light gray primer-Tamiya gloss black ,then I shot the fade with Floquil model railroad paint then cleared with automotive polyurethane ...........no adverse reaction .....so far ............ I used Erie Lackawanna Yellow,,Union Pacific Yellow and Caboose Red Floquil,,I have a lot of this left from my HO train days in the 80's ,,the paint is still good!
  17. .............and they still have the 68 hood in there too,,,,I think the pro street version has the 69 hood though
  18. I filled it in with Evergreen sheet then re-cut the hole to match the scoop , I got the roof sanded down ,filled in the cowl and side markers and cleaned off the firewall. I have to build up a Clutch-flite next . I got a Johan Pro Street 'cuda on Ebay for a good price ,when I get it I'll use the interior tub like you said ,,,will have to modify the tunnel to clear the length of the Clutch-flite .
  19. ..........I decided to go with the Missile's 2nd scoop variation (they used quite a few) I had a resin one that is pretty darn close .
  20. Nice builds Walter!!
  21. ...............and I guess I'll have to cobble up a Clutch-flite
