  1. My prayers are with you and your family, Darin, as requested.
  2. Very excited! All the new tools especially...The two versions of the Hudson kit and the three versions of the 66 Batmobile were definitely highlights. The 76 Gremlin and the van kits are welcomed reissues. There has been so much to look forward to! I have the Ice Patrol kit and only built the snowmobile all these years ago. I think I tried to fit the cab together and put the rest back in the box! I'd buy a couple of those if they were reissued, strictly for the snowmobile! Someone must have resin cast that snowmobile at some point?? Decals obviously would also be required. Anyone know if the snowmobile is available from the aftermarket?? I've also seen a couple of diecast snowmobiles and ATVs that are supposedly 1/32, but some look closer to 1/24-1/25.
  3. It seems to have photographed okay...looks good from here!!
  4. I'm astounded, and envious, at the speed with which you are able to build, John. Plus the fact you build so well!! This is an awesome build...I keep looking back at the pictures and am amazed. Bravo! What is not to like! If Skip's wish is to see real wire wheels, my wish is to see a real canvas body on a real wood frame!! (I am joking...If I could I'd insert the "sarcasm" emoticon here!!)
  5. Very cool! Well done. You nailed the colour!!
  6. This is coming along great, John. Thanks for letting us follow along!
  7. Got a laugh...any image of what a "Rusty Elvis" might look like?? I always liked Rusty and Elvis, so I'll follow along!
  8. Great article, Tim! Most enjoyable.
  9. Nice work! Very cool styling!!
  10. Looks great, Nick. I gotta say, your building has improved incredibly in the past year or so. Keep up the great work!
  11. DMCL is a good movie and that is a nice build, Davin! I'll pop into this CBP when I get to my next Mopar...a gluebomb wingcar or the Charger Police car, not sure which will be first...both are a few builds away from the bench though! I like what is going on here, so I'll be checking in!!
  12. Just ordered one of the Flock '52s!!
  13. That's a Mustang doing the wheelie... I guess the caption should read Civic...S2000 being rear-drive.
  14. Good to hear you are settling in Rom...looking forward to seeing your builds again, brother!!
  15. Nice body mods...including the split rear window!
  16. I'd like to see a proper MKII, as we have them here in Ottawa. Left-hand drive, of course!
  17. It's a cool kit for what it is. The box art is groovy!
  18. Thanks for showing the box contents!
  19. (Context-I'm 49 years old going on 5) I got toys! lol! My kids are old enough they bought me toys! 2 of them combined their resources and bought me the Lego VW T1 Camper Van...1332 piece snap kit! It's huge! My oldest got me the Hallmark 66 Batmobile ornament...my wife put a Hot Wheels Batmobile in my stocking...my parents got me a small diecast f-14a Tomcat, a genuine slinky...plus a bunch of parts for my 1:1 Beetle...overall, a great Christmas!! I've got money aside for the Gremlin and the Meyers Manx...all good! Best part was we all were at church last night and had a nice meal afterwards!! Not to mention great food all day long today!! Oh...Merry Christmas everyone!
  20. Well...10 builds completed in 2011 (not bad)...number purchased or acquired??? guessing...Maybe 15, tops. I do have close to 60 or 70 kits only in the stash. I'm looking at 2012 as an opportunity to reduce overall inventory. In other words...same plan as 2011!! Hopefully, a tad more successful!! Reality...Who am I kidding...I'll end up buying more than I finish and not reducing stash inventory! Recipe for success and a happy hobby!
  21. Since I missed a few days...and today is Christmas Day...I want to thank everyone and wish you all a Merry Christmas!!
  22. Okay, so I've been dying to see what is in the kit...thanks, Gregg, for the pictures and for pushing for the reissue!! I'm a VW nut...'67 Beetle in pieces for too long in my cold garage...and several VW kits to build...looks like some of the same parts as the Streetle Beetle...love those Cragars and the baby moons... BTW...The Fujimi 356 kit was also repackaged by Testor's as that is the version I have. The Porsche wide 5 and small 5 rims are both in the kit.
