  1. Thanks, Jason...and you're most welcome!
  2. 8 little 1/24th scale styrene men arrived by mail today from Colorado!! (I ordered 4 of the Ulrich mini-men) These are going to be fun to do...I need to staff my garage diorama with something other than Spice Girls!
  3. Dick, thanks...I debated on the UNDERBIRD, but the pit pass article had THUNDERBIRD...so I went for that!!
  4. Great work, Doc...Wow!! You are a painting machine!! Eyegore's ride needs a fire hydrant decal or two though!!
  5. Man, Rob...you read my mind...that would really be the end-all wouldn't it?
  6. Hmmm...what is all this craziness?? Unbelievable!! What some people will do...
  7. I think it is called obsessive compulsive disorder...OCD...but I'm no expert...I have tried to pare down my 'stash' with limited success. I plan on taking some time in the new year to go through my kits and decide what I want to keep and what I'm willing to sell and go from there. It will be a tough task, but I have come to the conclusion that I have more kits now than I could possibly build in my lifetime, even if I built 12 per year (which I don't, though I've now finished 10 for 2011). It's tough to be a model builder...especially when they keep releasing (and re-releasing) cool kits!!
  8. Thanks Dr. Cranky for reminding me that rust is a colour, too! Long live rust!
  9. Thanks for the comments, guys!
  10. Nice idea... Thank you, Gregg, Harry, Romell and the rest of the moderators/administrators/folks behind the curtains that keep this place moving along...
  11. They've also got an ornament of the '66 Batmobile! With sound! It will go great with the two Herbie ornaments from a couple years ago...
  12. Great stuff, Doc!
  13. Yes, I'm in for at least one...they are a part of VW history and are historic unto themselves!
  14. Wow, that is a great looking Camaro, Emily!! I like it a lot!!
  15. Thanks, Tim. Thanks, Terry. I appreciate the comments...nice to get this one done!! I have several more WIPs to drag back to the bench, but not until I'm ready for them...I've got several newer kits that I've bought in the last while that I'd like to get to, like the Hudson, glue kit and upcoming deluxe Batmobiles, Charger police car and several more I'd like to get to...plus the re-issue of the 1/32 scale Batmobile that I'll be building two of...mine and a friends...that may be the next project to the bench...two-for Batmobile!!
  16. 69 Baldwin Motion MPC convertible
  17. Kit is the Monogram Morgan Shephard #21 Citgo T-Bird-Aftermarket decals were actually cut, peel and stick vinyl that I bought in 1993. Added contingencies from a few left-overs and the Citgo kit. Used a Pit-Pass article from Oct. 1993 by Drew H. as a reference...I used the paint guide which was most helpful (Thanks, Drew!)but I couldn't locate all of the correct contingencies, so matched as many as I could as this is a shelf build for me...also in the Back on the Bench CBP. Enjoy. Comments and such as you feel are required! Thanks for looking!
  18. This one is done!! Started in about 1993-1995 timeframe...and finished today!! Enjoy...thanks for looking and thanks for the CBP inclination to finish this one off!! WooHoo!!
