  1. Peter, all of your builds are wonderful to follow along with. Just fantastic what you've done with the build so far. As for posting...no issues, as I type in the topic box and copy and paste image code from Photobucket. No nonsense! I have seen others mention issues with Flickr and I thought someone had posted a Flickr work-around or posting tips.
  2. Spotlight by the backdoor of the house...I paint one colour, so easy peasy!!
  3. Perfect...thanks, Mike! I found out what the chassis holes were for...it had been used for...what for it... Traffic school!! The holes were for magnets to hold it to the wall!! Cool!
  4. Winter doesn't stop me from painting outside. I'd rather rattle can a body when the air is crisp and dry, like on a cold clear night. Best part, no dust, leaves or mosquitoes to land in the paint!! I then leave the freshly painted body in the cold garage to cure overnight then bring it inside to the basement cave. Works for me. Just need to be aware of any wind blowing snow off teh roof unexpectedly (don't ask me how I know). I only need to stock up on paint and glue (Tenak and super glue) as I have plenty of kits on hand to choose from!
  5. Exactly like that one! (Except mine has a glue hunk near the driveshaft and 3 holes drilled in the centreline of the chassis) Thanks, Mike! (I don't need to post pictures now! ) Can you get a picture of the front turn signal lights? I'd like to see what they look like as mine is missing something from the ends of the front fenders (and the right taillight). Thanks, George...seems I may need a signal light or two or three...
  6. Thanks, guys...will have to go take a closer look at both sites!
  7. I have to take a couple of pictures...just today in the mail got a 1965 Mercury Montcalm, two door curbside, 4 screw chassis, with front wheel drive...spinning metal disc above the chassis where the engine would be and gear on the front axle so it rolls on the floor...white walls, chrome/silver stock hubcaps...body, chassis and interior are tan/beige colour, looks moulded in that colour, interior posts melted to hold in place in the body...metal axles look splined...quick search online got nothing. No manufacturer markings I can see, appears to be 1/25 scale, front and rear bumpers chrome/silver, screws trap the front and rear bumper in place between chassis and body. Any help in identifying this gem would be appreciated! Thanks!
  8. Doesn't take much to kill links from photo hosting...just need to edit an album and the links die off. Not unusual for a thread from nearly two years ago.
  9. Wow, Kenn...this is just too cool!! Thanks for sharing your process...truly awesome!!
  10. AMT Rabbit & Scirocco...'67 Galaxie Convertible...76 & 77 Volare are one's I built, so why not? The Pacer kit I had back then had a nice pair of snowtires in it If I recall correctly, too... That 440 Volare is sweet, by the way!!
  11. Just flat-out awesome!! The details are a poppin' Doc...you deserve that nap!!
  12. That is sweeeet...I love the desk and the prices on top of the Testor's bottles! I think I still have some in the 35 cent range!! (Prices are always higher in Canada after all!) Add the Testor's tube glue, Cartoons mag and Hot Wheels with model cars and if you had music going you have my teen years...with the coffee, that's me now!! Love it, Jairus!
  13. Wow, Joe...real cool!!
  14. Just dragged a NASCAR #7 T-Bird back to the bench...1992...been sitting since about 1994/95 or so...

  20. Nice build, Jose! Looks like you had a lot of fun building it!! Bravo!!
  21. I have a tankless compressor with a pressure regulator. It is on all the time. I also have a compressor with a tank and it shuts off when it reaches a certain pressure and comes on again when it drops while in use. Hope that helps. Do you have a manual for your compressor? There may be something that is particular to your make and model.
