  1. That's a nice looking build. Which manufacturer made the kit?
  2. That's a really sharp looking build, very nice paint job. Do you have any engine photos?
  3. Those are some very impressive builds, if they had a background of a parking lot or garage I would say that they were full size cars. I particularly like the metallic green convertible. Excellent work!
  4. Very nice build, that green looks really sharp.
  5. I'm looking forward to seeing this one built up, it looks like quite a detailed kit. I haven't seen the kit before - is it still being made, or does it have to be purchased aftermarket?
  6. Looks very good. Nice decal application!
  7. Thank you for your help!
  8. Hello, After seeing how many models are built using flocking powder for carpet, and how much it adds to the models' interiors, I have decided that I should pick some up and give it a try. I know how to apply it using white glue and a paintbrush, but I'm not sure about what kind to try. Does anyone have any advice on which brands/types of flocking powder work best? Also, can you airbrush acrylic paint or clear coat over flocking powder? Thank you! -Noah
  9. Thank you for your help! This answers my question.
  10. Hello, I am going to purchase the newly re-released Tamiya Fiat 500 kit, so I have downloaded its instructions as a PDF from Scalemates and examined them thoroughly. They state that the entirety of the floorpan and inner wheel wells (excluding the area covered by carpet or rubber mats in the interior) should be painted body color. I have looked at countless images of Fiats on Bring A Trailer, some show the floorpan as being painted body color, and some show it as being painted black. I prefer to build my models to replicate cars in the condition they were when they left the factory floor, and would like to know if the floorpan and wheel wells really should be painted body color. I know that this is kind of an obscure question, but if you know the answer to it, could you please let me know? Thank you! -Noah
  11. Looking good... I really like that engine!
  12. Welcome to the forum.
  13. Beautiful truck, the paint job and detailing is superb. What manufacturer made the kit?
  14. That looks really sharp. Great paint job.
  15. The engine and chassis detail on that kit is excellent, and you have done a great job with the detail painting. Looking forward to seeing this one come together.
  16. I would also like to add that this build is extremely impressive, especially considering how many months of work went into every last detail of it. The details, stance, and paint job are all just right. Seeing this model makes me want to buy one of these kits - are they still in production, or do they have to be bought aftermarket?
  17. Incredible model. When I first saw the pictures of it, I thought they were pictures of the real car!
  18. Hello, A while ago I built the 1940 Ford Standard Coupe from Revell. A detailed but rather difficult kit, it features numerous very small chrome parts. Unsurprisingly, I lost a couple of these parts, and haven't been able to locate replacements. I also screwed up a couple of the window pieces and the headlights when my hand slipped and I got glue on them. My kit also came with a chrome trim piece missing. If anyone has any chrome or clear parts or sprues from this kit that you would want to trade for something, could you please reach out to me? Thanks! Noah
  19. That model's looking great! I've seen this kit before, but have never heard much about about it, so I'm interested to see it being built up.
  20. Great work getting your model featured in Model Cars Magazine! A build as well done as this one certainly deserves a place in Model Cars Magazine.
  21. Finish looks great, and the engine bay is very well detailed. Nice work.
  22. That is some beautiful engine detailing! Nice color choice too.
