  1. X2! My vote goes to the '58.
  2. Really nice, that's held up well!
  3. My favorite BA car, have one I built 30 or so years ago as well. Needs to be restored, decals have yellowed with age. Yours still looks great.
  4. Really nice work. You must have been busy 30 years ago!
  5. If you want a '62, I think the AMT is the only game in town. Dave's tips are spot on. I don't know if anyone has tried mating the '62 body with the Moebius '61 chassis, that would give you the roll cage, steel wheels, race interior.

    2018 recap

Fine group of models! Impressive with the amount of time you spent.
  7. That tractor is a must! I guess I'm channeling my inner farmer
  8. Stunning paint work on them all, great work!
  9. Nice! Shabo tire transfers or very steady hand?
  10. There they are! Great group of cars. Those customs and that bonus build are outstanding!
  11. Not seeing the pics?
  12. Great looking model! Always good to see some 4-doors on here.
  13. That's a beauty! Well done.
  14. Great year! The Impala is my pick.
  15. Finished off the Black Widow this morning! I had an average year, not nearly as much time at the bench as I would like but gotta deal with the real world first . I really enjoy these end of year posts, thanks for looking, comments welcome. my 2018's

Wow, you've been busy! Great group of models.
  18. That's a beauty!
  19. Very nicely done, the Impala is my pick.
  20. Very nice! Removal of the "eyebrows" completely changes the look.
  21. This will be the last one of the year. I really like this kit, may build another as a stocker with a 6. I was disappointed with the decals, no sponsor name or drivers names, guess they saved on royalties. #87 was Buck Baker, 1956 and 1957 Grand National champ. The Black Widow was basically a factory race car, lightweight and with the new 283 small block with mechanical fuel injection. I believe it was a milestone creating 1 HP per cubic inch of displacement.
  22. Very nice work! I like your interior details.
  23. It does seem to be loading faster, thanks Dave!
  24. Interesting. Must have been a spec wheelbase the cars had to adhere to, then they made the body fit.
