"Side note - any guess how fast some company will release a kit of Sato's car?" My guess is not any time soon. Indy cars seem to sell about as well as NASCARs these days . Great race however, and glad no one was seriously injured in that crash.

Absolutely the biggest motorsports weekend of the year. I too don't care for F1, it seems whoever gets to turn 1 of lap 1 first is the winner. I'm a diehard NASCAR fan but Indy holds a special place for me. I grew up nearby and my dad and grandpa used to take me to the track on the first weekend of qualifying every year back in the 60s when there were still roadsters and Novis attempting to qualify.

Don't forget the Indy 500!

Finished this one today. Really nice, detailed kit, one of the newer AMT tools. I did a Google image search and found one with this unusual color scheme, so 1950's. Comments welcome as always, thanks for looking!
