Kit wheels, I stripped the chrome and painted them dark gray with aluminum spokes and rims.

Cool! She picked a good one. -
Very nice! The glass work is similar to many Heller kits, kind of odd but fairly easy to accommodate. First one of these I've seen built, looks good.

Back story: My first after school job was as a library page, mostly reshelving books as they came back and memorizing the Dewey Decimal System for life. The "old lady librarian" I worked for (she was probably 40 ), her husband worked at Delco and thus got a 25% discount on any GM product. Her choice at the time was a brand new '69 Judge! This is a tribute to that car and the times she gave me a ride home, scaring this high school boy shirtless but boy was it cool. She later traded it on a '71 Vette coupe. Cool lady! Monogram kit went together very well, Tamiya TS-31 Bright Orange paint, decals were pretty old but laid down pretty well considering their age. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

Really cool! Nice subtle weathering. -
Of all the Impalas the '67 is my favorite. Those "coke bottle" rear fenders! Beautiful paint and foil work, thanks for sharing.

Well done model of a little known Ferrari. I don't imagine many of these were produced?

My first car was a '66 Monza, used oil at the rate of quarts-per-mile but was a lot of fun. Nice job on the primer and faded paint!

Snagged off ebay for $40, couldn't pass it up. Box is beat, the only thing damaged is a broken windshield frame, easily repaired. Even has 2 tubes of Revell glue.

Great work on a so-so kit! Well done. -
Building more than one kit at a time.

I used to have several going at once and it got too confusing. Now I strictly limit to 3 at a time, that seems to be the number I can comfortably manage. Its nice to have something else to work on while paint or glue is drying. I try to do some work every day but there are times when I can go a week or more without touching anything. -
Very nice work! Your issues sure don't show. Great photography as well.

WOW!!! All of the above and more. Thanks for sharing the process with us.

Funny, on the stock car side you never hear about "stagger" anymore? -
You definitely put the lipstick on the pig, that came out great!

Both beauties! Nice work. -
Recently re-released Rat Trap Vega. Built OOB, phantom livery. I wanted to build this one as a prelude to the SalvinoJR kit. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
