  1. The secret is I glued them shut
  2. Long live longroofs. Great job on them all.
  3. Wow that really pops! Great job.
  4. That is too funny. I'm with Charlie, the donks and lowriders would be my nightmare. Or maybe it would be being surrounded by silver and gray blobs that all look alike
  5. They've been billboards since the first 'non-automotive' sponsors started coming in in the '70s. To get back on point I agree with Plowboy, if Revell is considering a new tool of anything I'm for it. Except a '57 Packard
  6. They could at least look into using it as a pace car, how cool would that be?
  7. Great models! JJ is not my favorite but these are outstanding, great interior details.
  8. Why the animosity Harry? If you don't like stock cars that's fine, but many do. They got me back in the hobby after a 30 year hiatus. Is it like the "good old days"? No, but then drag racing goes 1,000' and Indycars all run the same bodies. Times change. It is now and always has been about entertainment. Folks who don't like it vote with their feet and wallets.
  9. That would be great. I'd love to see glue versions of the rumored '13 Taurus or any of the Nationwide cars.
  10. Love the trans-am nose on the Datsun, great idea.
  11. Great build, love the factory stock stuff. Welcome and hope to see more.
  12. I don't see the 57 Ford on the list?
  13. Would the undercarriage from the '60 Starliner work, or did things change drastically between those years?
  14. I like it!
  15. Great build, can't tell its a snapper at all. These used to be everywhere but a lot of them got crashed at the local racetracks, just like the Monte Carlos.
  16. The inside one is on the dash...
  17. Thanks Harry. I thought you were going to yell at me for no outside mirror
  18. My magic number seems to be 3 on the bench actively being worked on. If I keep them in stages there's always something to work on.

    68 charger

Cool job. Love the factory stock ones.
  20. Nice work. Reminds me a lot of the 2-door 77 Caprice I had, wish I still did
  21. Thanks for all the comments guys, I really appreciate them. Skip, it's the AMT kit and yes the bumpers are sad. I haven't progressed to Alclad yet so I leave 'em alone.
  22. I thought I'd try something a little different. Instead of the top-of-the-line 500 I went for the lower optioned Town Hardtop. This is what I was shooting for: I removed the 500 trim and used thin strips of sheet to make the side trim, covered with BMF. I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I would have never tried something like this before joining this board and being inspired by all the great builds here. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
