    Love these new generation kits. Worst part was masking the blue - white scheme to fit the decals, I didn't think the the white decals provided would work too well. Hoping they do a Mustang in the near future. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

    1/24-1/25 open wheel cars are pretty small. 1/20 gets them on par with a 1/24 sedan allowing for more details. I personally would prefer more 1/24. I'll pick up one for the stash.

    It was a big deal at the time. Also made a pile of money for Monogram by popularizing all those stock car kits. Got me back into the hobby after a 30 year absence. I built a ton of them!

    I lament the fact that they all look the same now. If seen from the side you can't tell a Chevy from a Kia from a Hyundai, Buick, Toyota, Nissan, et al. Transportation appliances. No wonder kids no longer care about getting their drivers license. But I kinda like black rims?

    I'm nearly finished with mine, did you find the instructions iffy? It seems many of the part numbers are incorrect and drawings are not very useful.
