  1. I'm digging this! I think the paint turned out great, that yellow looks fantastic. Nice and smooth, and the quarter panel decal makes it pop. Honestly, this makes me want to dig this gem out of the stash. I think I've got the Dirty Donny version in there somewhere...
  2. Very nice! I really love the color, that blue is tasty. Is this the old AMT '68 Roadrunner Pro Street kit?
  3. I've been following this in the background, and I'm really blown away by the amount and quality of the work shown in this thread. I didn't know Roger at all, but I have seen a bunch of his stuff online. One of my favorite builds - out of all the incredible models he created - was this gem that he crafted out of the cartoonish AMT '32 Ford Phantom Vickie. He made a goofy looking kit into something so simple and understated and classy and downright cool. He wrote that it was a just for fun build, but there was obviously a whole bunch of work that went into it.
  4. It's a shame he doesn't offer these any longer, but I get it. I wish I had known about these when they were available.
  5. That turned out really nice! I know the color isn't exactly factory stock, and the V6 isn't the right one for the model year, but it's a sweet looking truck. I dig it. Also, that's a really great trick for the headlights. Cheap AND it works a treat.
  6. Nice, I dig it! Regular base model trucks (and cars) don't get enough love. It looks like the Iceman grille fits really well. I've been thinking about a similar build with an old C3500 promo I have in the stash and have considered using that same grille.
  7. Love this! Really, really cool build.
  8. Nope, I was thinking about this, the Monogram Off-Road Van, with the "Desert Rat" markings. It's typical 1970's Monogram stuff, which means I love it. I've had this one in the stash forever, maybe I need to finally build it. The decals are toast, though.
  9. Sweet! That's a great kitbash idea. It makes me wish we could get the old Monogram Desert Rat 4x4 van kit reissued- if those molds still exist.
  10. Back in 1974, there was a Swedish drag team running a Chevy-powered, Celica-bodied flopper, sponsored by Canon. AFAIK, there has never been a kit of this car. I'm going to assume the model you posted was scratchbuilt. https://www.hotrod.com/features/united-nations-april-1974-982-1048-116-1/
  11. That color is perfect for this car. I don't know how I missed the rest of the build thread on this one, but she's a beauty.
  12. Sweet! This would be a fun one to take out on cruise night.
  13. Sweet Ramcha...errr, Trailduster! The hood and grille swap looks good. I also noticed the resin scripts on the tailgate & fenders. Nice bit of work there. I dig it.
  14. As a Fiat aficionado, I am both horrified and amused.

    Callahan!!

This. Is. Cool. I don't have the skills to do any work with figures, but I'm totally here for this.
  16. That is one sweet Duster. The color combination is killer. Honestly, what Mopar doesn't look good in Panther Pink? This is one of my favorite AMT kits of that era.
  17. She's an absolute beauty!
  18. I really like this, especially in that color combo. Neat idea. Makes me wish I had one of these in the stash!
  19. That is really cool! I really dig the color and the "Panel Cruiser" emblem is such a great little detail.
  20. I should have mentioned that this was at Viva Las Vegas in 2019. I had the name of the owner at one point but lost is somewhere along the line. It's a really cool car and I'm a sucker for any big boat on skinny whitewalls and Astro Supremes.
  21. Not exactly big fins, but this particular car is one of my favorite looking Impalas of that era.
  22. Unfortunately, there are a number of accessibility guidelines that are not met on this site. Kurt's posted example is a good one, where the text is not in sufficient contrast to be read clearly by folks with vision issues. Not sure if that was a design error, or just lack of information.
  23. Now that is one sharp Fox body!
  24. The pic that Mike posted is the only shot I've seen of Shirley's yellow Mustang that had a clear view of the back end.
  25. Sadly, my search turned up empty on that hood. You might want to post for it in the Marketplace Wanted! section.
