I was exaggerating a bit, but honestly expected it to be a little heavier. Kinda surprised by that.

To quote my old Plant Manager, a retired Marine: disasters/catastrophe's are a series of small incidents and decisions that lead up to an event. There's no such thing as an "accident". -
Clean looking Corvette. That color looks amazing, excellent choice.👍👍

I'm up in the air how I want to build that one. It's way outside of what I normally like or would build. There's a few ideas floating around, and it was five bucks, so why not. Nice work on yours, by the way.

The turquoise/black with the white interior is a beautiful combination. Very nice choice there. Nice detail work on the chassis as well.👍👍

No, they are ferrules for electrical connections. The flared end worked almost perfectly for the stock exhaust. Guys use them for injection stacks as well.

Beautiful work and a neat subject, I saw my first one in person this summer, a different year and in need of restoration.

That front end gave me a fit, I had to strip it and start over 3 times. I couldn't do anything for the emblem on the trunk, next build I'm using foil under paint for anything like that, but I'm being critical of myself. Thanks for checking this out 👍👍

Now those look sweet. That's gonna look real good against the black body. 👍👍

Nice grand prix Michelle. That red really pops with the iridescent top coat, looks great.

Great looking build and nice re-use of an old build. This one is giving me some ideas.👍👍 -
Awesome looking '57. 👍👍

That's a cool build Michelle. I like how you put the louvers on the back window, really pulls off the look. Awesome work

Thanks a ton everybody. I put a real effort into the paint, and that interior. The level of detail I see elsewhere on the forum is a big inspiration for me, I see amazing work everywhere. I didn't want to clutter up things under the hood and chassis, I still feel it's a bit bare here and there. Trying to find that sweet spot between too much and not enough, without the resulting madness. Pretty proud of this one, considering it's my 3rd full build in thirty years and worlds nicer than anything I built as a kid.👍👍

The big hemi would fit the bill. Gonna pay attention to this one. I like that color, there's a guy on YouTube with one in the same color, an old diesel taxi. Check out "perky" at dead dodge garage.

I like the concept, there's something about a 5000 lbs car hauling down the strip that's just cool to me. What's the plan for the drivetrain?
