Clean build, really reminds me of everything I would see on magazine shelves as a kid. I've always liked the deep maroon color on these trucks. Very nice work on thisππ -

Yes!! I just recently commented to another member here about this exactly. You never see a base model Camaro. Great build idea and fantastic work so far. -
Rolls-Royce No Chemicals, No Paint, No Harmful Glues

I know situation all too well David. I must be fortunate, my wife occasionally builds a model, though I tend to buy more for her than she builds. I'll take that as a win I suppose. -
A wet, chilly 38 degrees in Albany.

I've used this Spraymax clear on NON-MODEL related projects. It has a shelf life once the can is activated. It is a true 2k product, so it stinks and proper respirator is a must. I have No clue how it will react with hobby level paints, no issues with the Napa mixed rattle cans I had made up.

Bit of a bummer with the Skyline. The other two look fantastic. I agree with Tj, foil is the way to go. Especially on the Hudson. I spent a few relaxing hours yesterday foiling that roadrunner I'm building, very rewarding. Looking forward to the weathering on that Skyline, I think that's a good compromise considering the situation. ππ

Rolls-Royce No Chemicals, No Paint, No Harmful Glues
johnyrotten replied to Anglia105E's topic in WIP: Model Cars
Absolutely true. There are times I think I should be moving along a bit faster, but I've learned where rushing can lead you to more work in the long run. Quality over Quantity. Very nice work with the picnic tables and mirrors. All those small touches add up in the end. -

No feral cats here,I need to bait in more owls.

Should have been an irk, one of my tractors would not shut off. Easy fix with zero dollars spent ,so that's a plus. All set to push snow this winter with hopefully no headaches. But I really am starting to dislike small woodland creatures.

Now that just looks awesome. Great choice on that maroon, looks absolutely beautiful.

Original AMT '64 GTO meets newer Revell '66 GTO and more!

Beautiful work. Great idea with the valve cover gaskets, little details like that can add so much to a build. The interior looks amazing as well. -
Very well done. Simple, clean looking 57. I like the contrast with the cleared roof vs flat body. It's got a great old school look. This is proof that sometimes less is more.ππ

Looking awesome, cool that you went with the AMC power. At car shows I find my self mildly suprised when I see a "ford in a ford" ect.ect. Keep up the great work π.
