Beautiful work Luke. Awesome job with the interior and under the hood.👍👍

She's cleaned up very well, and nice score on the donor car. If you play your cards right, you can recoup a bunch of money parting out the gt when you're done with it. Make sure you take EVERYTHING you need for the swap.

Sharp looking Fairlane, perfect color combinations. The gold really makes it pop. 👍👍

"A" body mopar's are some of my favorites. Great work as always.👍👍

I first learned of them in an issue of hotrod, Kurt Urbans sleeper nova. The company that built that car, Wheel to Wheel I believe, actually had one large enough for a chassis. Probably some left over military surplus item. Not that you can't get something square and straight without one, It makes things a world more consistent and repeatable. As far out as that frame you described is,he must be drunk, have vertigo, and work in the dark.

That would be the next guy's problem, which is an all to common theme

We have a small (10x12 ish) cast iron one at work, came from a lot of machine tools my boss bought at auction. Maybe I should ask what he wants for it

Another thought I just remembered, my wife does diamond art, she has these small, sticky ended tools to pick up the jewels. I've used them from time to time. No clue what they are called

Nice. My first was a mk2 gti, red. I've had three mk4's, a mk5 gli and a Corrado. I miss that car.

I'm looking at ikea's "billy" bookcase. I'm tight on space like you. Small house, big dreams.

Very nice work. I've got to pick myself up a few of these to recreate a few cars I've owned.

These types are pretty cheap. Second one is on Walmart. I've seen the first one on Amazon, the image is a 3d print -
Mine came from a refrigerator that gave up the ghost. 1/4 inch thick tempered glass.

With things like door mirrors I pin them. A small locating hole in the body, and I bend the wire over and glue or epoxy on the back. No risk of wrecking the paint.

https://makerworld.com/en/models/459031-tamiya-mr-hobby-paint-rack-10-ml#profileId-367202 There are a ton of files for tamiya stands on here, as well as cults 3d. There's probably something that'll work for you,if you can get it printed.
