Those were more for scavenging than "boost" in that application as I understand it. Detroit's are the original source for the 4,6-71 blowers.
-
As Bill says above, it's all about application. Modern small displacement engines use smaller sized turbos to boost performance with minimal lag,and couple that to 6,8,10 speed transmissions to keep the engines in it's power band
-
Supercharger's also have parasitic loss, they take power to turn. Turbo's build heat,as do blowers, there's no free lunch. Superchargers tend to make power lower in rpm, Turbo's the opposite.

RPI was the first one that came to thought. Good luck getting those printed π
-
Another option might be a "maker's space", we've got a couple down here in Albany that print, but you gotta sign up and they fill up fast. Also, there's a few guys down this way that have printing services, I have no experience with them,so I can't speak on quality.

The blue cap is similar to tamiya extra thin,in my understanding. Dries super fast. The yellow dries slower and is thicker, I use both,no complaints and no leakage, but I'll keep that in mind

Great toolbox, you've kept that in nice shape. Considering the cost, and the fact it's an investment in your career, I hate to see them beat to trash.

Very nice work so far in the engine bay. ππ

Great looking hotrod. ππ that big cadillac looks perfect.

Congratulations on the new place, you've got some great views to enjoy. I like the old architecture, much nicer than cookie cutter communities today.
-

What did you see on the road today?
johnyrotten replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yes it is a Crosley. It wasn't in bad shape, pretty solid car. The Ranchero wasn't too bad either, some rust and l someone hacked the tunnel for a floor shift. Everything Around the shock towers was solid. Both were pretty complete . -
Very cool car. Nice work on this oneππ

Looks awesome, nice work on the grille. My votes for the 67 vetteππ

Awesome. I went "dragged out of a barn and cut up" with mine. I like the period correct idea a bit more. -
