Finished up with the "paint apocalypse " I acquired, cleaned the bench and hit a toy show with my wife where I found a couple wishlist kits. Also found a revell 70 roadrunner at Michael's on clearance for $15. Too good to pass that up.

Picked the Merc and Galaxie up at a toy show. The roadrunner was clearance at Michael's.

He's one of the larger model building channels, creator's and companies pair up for advertising/profit opportunities. Think athletes and heath supplement companies, same idea. He's got tons of subscribers,I'm certain those products are made to a price point, and target a specific group of modelers. Honestly, for all I know,they could be a re-badged version of something already available or an old product under a different name. I've used his channel for information only, and rarely at that. I prefer to stick with proven products, unless a new idea or method/product really interests me. I'm thinking it's a "monetary gains situation".

Nice work on the Buick. The day2 wheel choice looks great 👍. I seem to forget inside rear view mirrors, snaking them into place afterwards is nerve wracking.

Been there. Used to say "I love what I do and hate where I work."

Coolest job was also the worst. Industrial maintenance/milwright work. I got to travel all over half the country and work on crazy, huge equipment while making insane money in my early/mid twenties. The 2-3 day straight through workdays, not home for a month and corporate garbage took the enjoyment out of that work.

Sounds like that person operates on autopilot. I've seen that "phenomenon " in more than a few occupations. They recite a script so often it becomes "Pavlov's dog". Or zero situational awareness. On another note,hopefully you figure out the emissions issue,those are great,fun cars to drive.

I've never had a vehicle on a dyno,or rollers for that matter. That being said,you don't just dump the clutch, and having owned one of those vw's, the torque steer isn't insane or anything. That guy must have been an absolute clueless idiot.

If it did,I hope it choked on them. Still can't find that brush holder,and it's not like it's small.

That color needs "curves". I could see that on a vette.

The Land Rover looks great in that color, with the white top and wheel. I find the shape of the vehicle either compliments or detracts from the color. And vice versa.

Minor irk. I seem to be missing an entire paint brush holder with brushes. I think the squirrels I hear about on the forum have either changed their taste,or brought along a raccoon.

I'm personally sick of the "boring gray" color a lot of new cars have. Looks like gloss cleared primer. Cars today don't have the bodylines and styling for the colors they have. That "pearl puke" color ☝️above would work on a 30's-50's car, called something else obviously.
