  1. Very nice builds.
  2. Randy, I also have every Impala/Belair from 53-67. I've collected as many full size Chevy kits as I could fiind, starting with the Galaxie 46/7/8 kits.
  3. Wow, nice builds. I love Impalas/big Chevys.
  4. "If I told you, I"d have to kill you"
  5. Very sad news. I watched that race, that was a terrible wreck.
  6. Really nice work. I would love to get a mini lathe and give it a try, but my current funds don't allow it.
  7. Actually it's a 348. It was also used in trucks. Chevy later used the block in '61 to make the 409.
  8. I've been working on the same kit with same idea as a sport racer. I have added several details so far, including different wheels and have the body in primer. I need to get back to it, been stalled for a while. Looking forward to seeing how your build comes out.
  9. very cool.
  10. i think people would get out of your way if you drove that to work everyday. Not to mention how much fun you could have with it.
  11. 68,69 and 71 Impala 71-73 Vega 71-73 Mustang and maybe some 68-72 full size Pontiacs.
  12. Your stuff is looking great. I'd be interested in wheels and tires in the 15-18 inch range. Not many other options out there. Pegasus makes nice stuff, but not every project calls for or looks good in 19 & 23's.
  13. Then fine tune from there based on how you mix your paint and your painting technique.
  14. I'll also be watching this build. I just picked this one up today from my LHS with tax $46.
  15. One word....Wow.
  16. You just keep building one beautiful model after another. Stunning work.
  17. Absolutely beautiful! Your build really raises the bar. A show winner for sure.
  18. Wow, what a collection of flathead manifolds!
  19. I have 2, one a neighbor gave me when she cleaned her son's stuff out of the garage. The other, a friend from my club gave me. Going to build one and cannabalize the other for another project. Overall it's seems like a really decent kit.
  20. I've owned mine for 35 yrs. great airbrush. The needle seat on mine split about a year ago, I sent it to Badger (they have a lifetime warranty) they rebuilt it and sent it back. No charge.
  21. Sorry for your loss, may the good Lord comfort you and your loved ones through this sad time.
  22. That was my first thought when I saw that picture.
  23. Outstanding work, can't wait to see the finished model.
  24. I've used gel pens to paint whitewalls and have had good luck with them. if you're not sure if the one you have will work, experiment on a parts box tire.
