  1. I've never seen a 65 turned into an El Camino, very nice job. And the Pro Street on the trailer makes it a perfect combo.
  2. How did you chop the roof, did you take it all off of the bottom of the A and C pillar?
  3. Brizio, if you google Lennon's Rolls there are plenty of pictures. It was a Phantom V. I even found another picture that showed George Harrison's psychedelic Mini Cooper. Those two could keep you busy for months and put your neck in traction. Lol. Google both and take a look, they would definitely compliment your Porsche.
  4. Very cool. Does look better with the top down, shows more detail. Excellent job. Like I said before, now you need to do John Lennon's psychedelic Rolls Royce.
  5. Fantastic job. That came out great.
  6. Just found this thread, what a cool build. Beautiful job, neat idea.
  7. Nice job so far, welcome back to the hobby. Looking forward to the finished build.
  8. Cool build, saw a lot of those when I was stationed in Germany. Always liked the body style, but looks way better as a pro mod.
  9. Cool project, looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
  10. Very clean build, beautiful paint.
  11. That's going to killer with the clearcoat. Looking forward to seeing the complete build.
  12. Nice job, like the color combo. I've built this kit, definitely a BMF challenge. If you can foil this kit, you can foil anything.
  13. It was a good day yesterday, the new issue of Model Cars came in the mail (intact) and I picked up the reissued 36 Ford from Hobby Lobby for $15 with the 40% discount.
  14. Saw your build at the Pinellas show, very nice build. I liked the yellow 32 you showed also. Your builds are very clean and well detailed.
  15. James, are you talking about the Testors 1/43 die casts? I have those and was looking at them thinking the same thing. I was also looking at one of the Ultimates Cobras I have wondered if I could make it fit and turn the 36 into a full detail. Don't know if I have the patience to take on that build.
  16. I just got the 1/43 36 Ford, a friend of mine gave it to me. Pretty neat kit. After seeing your Mustang, I'm looking forward to building mine.
  17. That's the nicest looking spray booth I've ever seen.
  18. Looks great so far, I'll be following your build to see it turns out.
  19. Very nice build, I like the clean look.
  20. That's going to look real cool when it's finished. I've never seen anyone attempt a paint job like that. After you finish you need to find a Rolls kit and do John Lennon's psychedelic paint job.
  21. As many as it takes to keep myself from getting bored with a build. I have this uncontrolable urge to add more and more detail.
  22. Looks great, nice job.,I like the engine detail. I've built that kit twice and have two more. The AMT kit may be an old mold but they still build up nice with a little work (and a lot of BMF).I have a couple of the Revell kits, but I haven't built one yet.
  23. It was a cool find but those Gas Monkey guys remind me of the Earl Shibes type of bodyshop turning over bondo buckets and asking for top dollar.
  24. Just have fun. Some of the best builds I've seen were just what came in the box and some very careful painting. So I would just concentrate on parts prep and paint.
