  1. Wow, excellent job. It looks great on your diorama, nice job on that also.
  2. Nice build, nice paint. I still have that kit unbuilt in the Monogram box. Saw another thread of someone who just built that kit. That made me go dig it out of my stash, just can't decide what color to paint it.
  3. Very,very cool. Nice build.
  4. http://smg.photobucket.com/user/dayes/media/004_zpsc4aa4d60.jpg.html My first 1:1 car was a 71 Impala, wish I could find one of these kits. I collect as many different Impala kits as I can find, but this is one I don't have.
  5. I still have 90% of that kit in a box in pieces, metallic blue plastic body still unpainted. I don't have the gasser suspension or the the 454, I plan on rebuilding it with a big block from my parts box and some normal wheels and tires.
  6. I have a Wallace and Grommit motorcycle and sidecar model kit my wife's British aunt brought me from England.
  7. I'm a very slow builder, it can take me several months to finish a model. I can't build a model without adding more and more details. Then I get lazy and it takes forever to finish. I wish I could just push myself to build a couple of box stock models, just paint and foil. No other details.
  8. Want to wish everyone out there a Happy Thanksgiving. My wife and I are spending it with our son, daughter in law and our beautiful 6 mos old granddaughter.
  9. I like it, a retro 510. I think it will go over we'll. As far as someone saying it's ugly, I have one word......Juke. @-@
  10. Neat build, where did you get those headers?
  11. Hey Charlie, why don't you do the videos yourself? Your really relaxed at explaining your products at the club meetings.
  12. Just one word, Wow. Very nice job, great color and wheel choice.
  13. Happy Veterans Day. This day means a lot to our country and to all veterans out there.I served 10 yrs in the US Air Force, I'm proud of every minute.
  14. Hey Len, how have you been? Finish any Ferraris lately. Won't be able to make the show this weekend, just had surgery yesterday. I plan on making it to the April show. Hopefully we'll be having as many venders then also.
  15. Great build, now where's the color! Looking forward to seeing some nice paint.
  16. Just went on line to find 1:1 dimensions. 62 Corvette Total length 177.2" width 70.4" Wheelbase 102" length 57" front 58.8 rear 67 Corvette Total length 175.1" width 69.6" Wheelbase 98" length 56.8 front 57.6 rear Other than the total length, the differences in 1/25 scale would be negligible. The 62 looks like its 6" wider than the 67.
  17. I really think the new Revell 62 Corvette is closer to 1/24 scale not 1/25. The reason I say this is I was going to do some kit bashing between the 62 Vette and the 67 2n1 Vette convertible, the 62 is huge compared to the 67. I put the 62 up next to the 1/24 65 Vette and they were closer in size. Has anyone else noticed this?
  18. My Hobbytown had the Grumpy kit for $21.79, not a bad price. But they had the Paddy Wagon kit for $33...ridiculous, I'll pass.
  19. My local Hobbytown has some on the shelf, I passed on it until I know for sure what's in the kit.
  20. For me, I either have the tv on or Classic rock on I Heart radio.
  21. Looking over this and your other posts. Your paint jobs are outstanding.
  22. Sweet, very nice build. Great color.
  23. Very cool idea, would have never thought of it. Looking forward to seeing your progress.
  24. You might try Modelhaus, if anybody has them Don would.
  25. I had a can of rustoleum do the same thing. I had a can of light blue to paint an engine and accidentally left it in a hot car. The bottom swelled out and I found it before it turned my gray cloth interior. Won't make that mistake twice.
