The F1 engines are getting smaller and smaller, it's a shame. Nothing beats those V10's screaming to 22,000 rpm's.

Have never seen any of those combos, but wouldn't mind any of them in my collection. Especially the Galaxy and Falcon kit.

I've noticed one thing while browsing their site, it seems that 90% of their items are either out of stock or back ordered. Do you need to wait six months for your order?

At least twice a month with the 40% coupon on my I phone. They have a really good selection of current kits. In the last several months I've purchased 2 Paasche H air brushes ($95) - 1 for $53 and the other with a gift card from my son plus the 40% I got one for around $25.

I am interested in buying from HLJ because of the extensive collection of Japanese kits and accessories. There is no US company that I know of sells a lot of this stuff. In particular right now I'm looking for aftermarket wheels.

That's pretty cool, I've never seen a 58 Impala hearse. I've only seen a Yoeman or Brookwood wagon.

Just made a post about the ads and got deleted in 10 minutes. That's got to be one of the quickest. Too bad congress can't move that fast. Lol. My bad, it got moved.

Is it just my computer or does everyone have the same thing. Now when you open one of the categories the second thread down is an advertisement. I know it pays the bills but I prefer it be in an innocuous corner somewhere. I just discovered when you open a thread it's on every one. Very annoying.

I've been meaning to go to the museum. Our car model club put on a small model show a few years ago at the first Billetproof car show, but we were so busy most of us didn't get a chance to go through the museum. I did do the second best thing last week looking for photos, I emailed them asking for some detailed photos if possible. They haven't responded yet, but hopefully they'll send some. I still plan on making it to the museum, several of my friends said its awesome.

Don't if I should have posted here or Drag Racing. I'm looking for detailed photos of Swamp Rat 19 specifically the engine and cockpit area. I'm wanting to do a detailed build of Revell's 1/16 scale Swamp Rat 19.The only clear photo I can find is on Garlits' website and its a 3/4 front shot with no great detail. If anyone has any clear detailed photos or know where I can find clear detailed photos, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The Tabletop Cruisers Car Model club is having their annual Supercruise on Saturday August 10th from 9:00am- 5:30pm at Hobbytown on US 192 just east of I95. There are 21 categories and 2 theme classes. Fees are $10 for the first 5 models and $1 per model after that. Juniors 16 and under $5 unlimited models. In the vast expanse of websites, I'm trying to find a site I stumbled across but can't remember where. The site has a list of where to find the all kinds of engines from all the different models and manufacturers. If anyone knows the site I'm referring to your help would be greatly appreciated. I had a friend who had a 68 Skylark, he repainted his pearl white w/gold stripes aka Hurst Olds. It looked really nice.
