The color I used was Model Master dark metallic blue thinned down and shot through a Paasche airbrush. Then it was clear coated with a two part automotive clear.
I've avoided any of the models of newer cars because of lack-of-detail/curbside appearance of the models. Will definitely consider buying one of these. Paint color should be like Bill said, something bright like the new GM electric blue or the burnt orange.
