  1. Nice job, always loved the big Pontiacs. (Second only to Impalas).
  2. Phenomenal work Randy. Your attention to detail is inspiring to other modelers. Where do you get your scale hardware? I used to use "Scale Hardware" but he has closed up shop.
  3. Sad day for Hot Rodding, I always loved the iconic "California Kid". RIP Pete.
  4. Just enough, no engine is too much. The 409 is perfect. Nice work so far, will be following your build.
  5. Beautiful job!
  6. Nice job, great looking wood panels.
  7. Think its going to look nice when finished, I'll be watching your build.
  8. Absolutely stunning automobile! Beautiful metalwork. The supercharged Ardun flathead is a piece of art itself.
  9. Awesome looking ride, hope it does well right out of the box.
  10. Beautiful Car, bet it scoots with the 4L V12.
  11. Beautiful job as usual.
  12. I bought one at Hobby Lobby after reading this thread, works great for trimming BMF.
  13. Nice job! Love those big 2-door Chryslers, they were cruisers.
  14. Nice job. 1958 was the year GM went crazy with chrome on all their brands.
  15. Thanks for the info Randy. Nice work, I'll be following your build, Where did you get the measurements/specs for the chassis?
  16. We used to call that a sleeper. Nice build.
  17. Bummer. First Modelhaus, now Scale Hardware. I've bought both products in the past, excellent quality. What a shame...
  18. Beautiful work on the cage. I have a question about how you solder nickel silver tubing, do you use a soldering iron, torch or resistance soldering unit? What type/wattage do you use?
  19. Sweet. Definitely on my list of must have kits.
  20. Beautiful model, your attention to detail is outstanding. Harry, have you thought of using tiny rare earth magnets to secure the hood straps when displaying the hood closed?
  21. The color I used was Model Master dark metallic blue thinned down and shot through a Paasche airbrush. Then it was clear coated with a two part automotive clear.
  22. Very pleased with the way these came out.
  23. I've avoided any of the models of newer cars because of lack-of-detail/curbside appearance of the models. Will definitely consider buying one of these. Paint color should be like Bill said, something bright like the new GM electric blue or the burnt orange.
