Didn't know if I was going to like it (being adamant about front engine design) but I think it's mean looking. Chevy did a nice job. Just wish I could afford one.

Second most beautiful car in my opinion. 58 Impala in Cashmere blue. My dad had the exact car w/348 4bbl.

I'll take any 63-67 Coupe, the later years definitely Marina Blue w/black interior. -

I would have never parted with it. Love all the 63-67 coupes. Never had the funds to buy one, only in plastic. -

Looks like a neat kit. I'm not into tractors etc. ,but that might be a fun kit to try building something different.

Nice build, nice detail. I just got a copy of this kit, going to use the S27 PE set and carbon decals. I've never tried weathering, I'm better at shiny. Going to buy one of Indycals new 2019 Lemans decal sets. I also plan on using some of your building tips. -
Gary you were fortunate to own them. For me to own any of the C2 coupes now would be a lifelong dream. I've never been in the right place or right time to afford one (I'm 62), now they're out of reach for my wallet. So I guess I'll enjoy building them in styrene.

Wow, great Birthday gift. Enjoy building it. I just treated myself to a MFH 1/43 scale kit, thats all my wallet can afford. LOl.

Beautiful color. The 63 Splitwindow is my all time favorite car. I think the mid 60's coupes are the most beautiful cars ever designed.

With silver paints being flat, putting a gloss coat over the silver first would work better. Then putting more clear over the decals once dry.
