Very nice build! Bad to the bone!

There are no hobby stores in my area, I've had to resort to rustoleum. Very frustrating with unpredictable results ranging from crazing to lumpy orange peel, the 2X clear is the riskiest of all...like russian roulette with every squirt. Ive sprayed on test parts to make sure the paint will work...then had it mess up on the car for no apparent reason?! So, I end up spending alot of extra time to scuff-n-buff and polish hoping to get OK results. I use it with caution, heating cans in warm water, super light coats, letting it cure for weeks, and I would say while my results are better than this guys test video...rustoleum sucks, is a total pain in the butt, and takes the fun out of building models.

Revell 1/12 scale 1969 Camaro Z/28, Its great seeing how much detail this kit has right outta the box, and will be fun adding a lil' more, I'm thinking a slight rake adjustment, yellow with a black vinyl top, and maybe hockey stripes.

Thanks for sharing, I often have the youtubes going in the background when Im working on a model, (usually car related videos), I like a channel called Pine Hollow Auto Diagnostics where the mechanic has skills and knowledge similar to the one you shared...only problem is they turn out to be way more interesting than the model and I don't get much built! XD Still cringe when I have to fix something on my vehicle...its a 1999, and like the owner...stuff is wearing out with age.

Ive read all of Lee Child's Jack Reacher books, but when his son Andrew Child took over I lost interest (he didn't inherit his dads writing genes). I had to laugh when I saw Tom Cruise cast as Jack Reacher...and haven't bothered to watch it. I have only seen one episode of the series, it wasn't bad, but I don't own a TV so I probably won't see much of them, but they should be entertaining if they base them on the books.

Its lowered quite a bit...I even cheated and used a trick I've never tried before...cut the tops of the tires off so the wheels tuck further up into the fenderwells😆. When I was doing reseach online I noticed bus owners had to cut out and build front 'tubs' under the seats, quite a bit of work!

Ive had a few kits like that...(AMT 1:16 '57 Chevy comes to mind)...had to trim the firewall to clear the bell housing, inner door panels would not fit the outer door skins, bench seat was too wide for the interior tub, etc.,etc. All you can do is heat,bend, trim and 'make' the parts fit...and hope the next kit is better! Nice build! In the '80s I got a job at a window tinting place who had a contract with the local Air Force base, every morning they would bring is four green K Cars, and take the four cars we tinted the day before. It was like a K-Car groundhog day.

Pretty much done! Not a bad kit, always been a fan of old v-dubs! Mostly stock, lowered the suspension and the rest is stock~

A mostly stock '64.5 Mustang, coke bottle rims, slight rake, the scoop was a leftover from a '55 chevy kit, we had a break in the weather two weeks ago so I hurried to get some paint on it...now the rains are back, good weather to stay indoors and put stuff together

Looks superb! I look forward to the vinyl top tutorial...I plan to do that to my next build (1/12 scale 1969 Camaro)

Nice work! The Road Runner was way cooler than the Jeep she drove...too bad they drove it off a cliff =P
