  1. The Nova is one of my favorite cars, owned one for many years. What did you use to tint the windows green?, Im going to try that on a current project
  2. I always liked the 300 body style, thought it looked kinds like a chopped Bentley.
  3. Apparently there is a glitch in some automobiles, where the brakes fully apply themselves whenever the driver activates his right turn signal?! I find automobile sitting in the road at a complete stop with the right turn signal blinking (usually just before a side street or driveway). I then witnessed a similar phenomenon where a car was completely stopped in the road and no blinker...perhaps the glitch happens once the steering wheel is turned?! Thankfully my car is not affected, I turn on my signal and the momentum of the car continues to propel it in the direction Im turning 😃 Just can't figure out why so many cars are sitting in the road at a complete stop before turning (with no stop signs or traffic lights requiring a stop).
  4. I like the '67 to '72 C-10 Chevys, easy to work on, roomy cab, nice ride and just a good all around basic truck that still had metal in it.
  5. looks great...mickey thompsons were a great choice! meep-meep!
  6. The article mentions having to wait for the debut to see the final color...I think it looks fine bare! Maybe wipe it down with pledge and call it good 😃
  7. Looks great! Always liked the first year Chevelles, one of my first cars was a '64 Skylark, same A-body platform as the Chevelle, I've had thoughts about modifying that kit into a Buick (as if I don't have enough projects)
  8. I love the '74 GTOs, and am curious about the '72 - '73 Ventura in the flinstone link...'73 is very different than the '72. in '73 the rear quarter windows are bigger, the body line is also different due to the larger window...would take quite a few changes to make an accurate GTO from that. This youtube vid shows the differences:
  9. That is super clean 😃
  10. Ive seen most of his build videos and every one is a masterpiece...imagine what he could do with a 1:16 or 1:8 scale?!
  11. All the little details blew me away...like the moving gas pedal and linkages!
  12. A postal worker friend of mine says the appointment of Louis DeJoy as Postmaster General is what happened, they are so understaffed and underfunded that it is barely able to function.
  13. Looks great! reminds me of 'Go Mango' or 'Vitamin C' orange, perfect color for that car 😃
  14. looks great! I think the C3 corvettes were the best looking body style
  15. I do cat sitting for friends, and RexMo is my favorite, very friendly happy goofball, and loves playing in water
  16. I have to laugh at the tesla truck...imagine taking that back into the 50's, 60's, 70's...and telling people this is what the future loooks like! XD
  17. Lots of great creations there! I like the Studebaker/camino and the Fury/nomad...your combinations all use body styles that match and compliment each other.
  18. Looks great! the torq thrust rims and redline tires are perfect for that goat!
  19. Welcome...and I agree that iis less stressful than working on real cars!
  20. Nice car! '68 is my favorite year, I think the round tailights (and side marker lights), the stripes, and the grille all look better than the '69 (which for some reason seem to be more popular)
  21. Revell 1/16 scale Volkswagen T1 Samba bus, I like the stock rims but think some low profile tires and low stance will look mo better!
  22. Hard to pick one, the sound of the '55 Chevy (drag racing the '70 AAR cuda) in the opening scene in Two Lane Black Top made me love that car...even tho its not much to look at. Munsters Dragula was love at first site Watched Harold and Maude again last week, the jag gets honorable mention for being so unique I'll end it there, easy to get carried away with so many cool cars!
  23. Red isn't really my favorite color, but I thought it looked good on this Trans Am
  24. Decided to lower it, not too crazy...just dropping it untill the mufflers and tie rods will be touching the ground
  25. Hi, I'm getting back into the hobby after taking a break for 40+ years, I built models as a kid...then switched to real cars once I was old enough to drive...and now its back to models...no heavy lifting, busted knuckles, and crawling under cars on concrete (or gravel) etc. Look forward to checking out builds and getting inspiration
