  1. Rawhide! "Rollin Rollin Rollin"
  2. Taken in my parents driveway, 1976. I just turned 13 and mom let me use the only camera we had. The Movin on and Watkins Kenworths were probably the first issues. I remember using masking tape and spray bombs. The A.C. I think is Wasp. Found these going thru old pictures. I remember being so excited when we got the pics back.
  3. Yea, Not Fragile one of the few albums I can let play all the way without stopping, the do it again! RIP Robbie.
  4. My grandsons and I built that one and another, can't remember which one. They were fun to do. Looks good!
  5. This one I've had for years. I haven't charged the battery in well over a month. Still going. I had to buy the gray one for the battery in the dog grooming section from lowes, think it was like 20 bucks. The blue mini mite in low is the prefect speed for building, the gray one doesn't go that low. The blue one is model 754. When I find another I'll snag it up.
  6. I'll trow my hat in on this one. I'll go with the beefed up version of this one. Really diggin these group builds.
  7. Found this at my parents house on Thanksgiving day. They bought me the whole set back then. The set is long gone but this engine has been bouncing around the house for all those years. Shes pretty beat up, but brings back fond memories.
  8. What do you get with a Challenger, a beer, and a barf bag?
  9. It was a challenge. Chrome was a nightmare. Just wired the engine and blacked out the wheels.
  10. Had a heck of a time with the chrome. Got it done!
  11. Cool. After a few major setbacks, I just have a few more details to take care of, should be done this evening. I'm on it!
  12. Today is dec 1st. So does this end tonight at 11:59? If so, I can finish. Great job to everybody!
  13. Installed Interior done Got it on its tires. Used the blackwall sid and used panel line wash on the wheels. Kind of gives it more of a sleeper look. Final color. Gonna try to get it done before the end of the month.
  14. Got more pics but I didnt realize they are bmp files and wont load. I'll try to fix and get back.
  15. Been trying to get the impala done. Was trying to figure out something to dress this blob of a carb up. So I got these springs out of old throw away oil seals we use at work. Cut, stretched, stuck to the side. I figured the carb is going to be covered with the cleaner anyway.
  16. Thanks guys, it was a fun build.
  17. Oh, cut thin strips of electrical tape for the seat belts and spare tire straps. Decals with my printer.
  18. Finally was able to get some decent pics of my p to p entry. Wired the engine with thin steel wire painted black. Tires painted with a white paint pen. Steelies from the 40 ford kit. Cooler is scratched from evergreen stock, sleeping bag and duffle bag are milliput. Fire extinguisher is from the 63 impala. Shovel and ax are diorama stuff. Tool box is from the 72 chevy wedge kit. Bent some styrene trees for the roll bar. Paint is rustoleum spray. Not a bad kit at all for the age of it. They took care of the molds for sure. I thing this is the first community build I've ever finished on time. Was allot of fun.
  19. Beautiful poncho, what a beast!
  20. I'm liking this allot. Me and a friend used to take his sisters 72 out and jam to some black sabbath and others on the 8 track player. Loved that car.
