  1. I used to do that in my 1:1 cars also.
  2. Try emailing them to yourself, then opening them in a computer. You may be able to save them in other formats. But your mileage may vary.
  3. I know. One place I always check is https://hymanltd.com/view/inventory/ Usually they have complete sets of pics of the underside of the cars that they have for sale. Unfortunately not this time.
  4. Linux + Firefox + Duckduckgo (can filter out AI) + uBlock Origin= no damn ads. No google either.
  5. To err is human, but to really screw up things we need computers.
  6. FWIW I found this coupe. It is hot rodded but there are interesting detail pics: https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1791683/1937-chevrolet-coupe-for-sale-in-clarksville-georgia-30523
  7. It MAY be possible to replace the ugly/inaccurate body beads with stretched styrene rod. But I will deny all the way to the guillotine being the instigator. And those stumps that pass as pedals...
  8. Why messing with AI when there is so much natural stupidity around?
  9. Cats are great as long as they live in someone else's house.
  10. My dad used to say: don't believe anything you are told, and only half of what you see. Now with AI this may have to be heavily downgraded...
  11. I run Linux and ad blockers. No ads. Screw youtube policy.
  12. Following. I have one... somewhere.
  13. Value: the cheapest junk that may look good enough; price: how much we can charge until the victim (sorry customer) reacts violently.
  14. Not quite like this. You will have to buy a new one first, THEN find it in the last place you looked (that will be right in the center in plain view) and after that, when looking for the receipt to return the new one... guess...
  15. Actually three: right way, wrong way and my way.
  16. Yes I followed and read about the crankshaft, that is why I asked. Thanks.
  17. Following the construction. Disclose: I do not know the first thing about 3D but have a question. Does the 3D material have enough mechanical resistance to carry the weight of the car without breaking or bending?. Most interested on the suspension parts (spindles and everything that moves on the front end). I would do the chassis and suspension with brass and lost wax parts. Because it is going to be a BIG car.
  18. Light is older now, so it is weaker also.
  19. (sigh) now I have to look for one to vindicate myself. I believe I have at least one of the skeletons somewhere.
  20. I believe it has never been reissued.
  21. There are people that are so poor that the only thing they have is money...
  22. Did one decades ago. Mercifully got lost in a moving...
  23. I have a Pocher one, find it intimidating...
  24. I also have this thingmajings (don't know their proper name) that I got at Harbor Freight. Great to pass a little piece thru a hole inside an enclosed assembly.
