That paint finish turned out great!
-
Body color would be correct for stock. Interior looks fantastic! It looks better than AMT ever imagined it could! The whole car does.

I think that leather looks great! I've seen real leather used on 1/8th Rolls kits and I still think paint, done right, looks better. -
Man that looks great! I love this kind of project. Making things fit as you go, my kind of build. Looks like so much fun, LOVE it!

Mo betta. WAAAY mo betta! Translation: More Better!

I love saving old models! You are doing it the justice it deserves. Cool!

I started one then found that I had previously taken many parts including the engine for other projects. I cobbled bits and pieces together and ended up with this, nowhere near accurate, but it'll do for a shelf model. I'm sure yours will look great.

David, I did some kit swap test fits and the full wheel covers are INSTEAD of wires, can't be placed over the wires, it's one or the other. Those wheel covers are from the 2 door kit, but they do fit the tires perfectly, from both kits. -

Hey James, I just took these pics, I haven't actually started working on it again after 40 some years, but I did manage to pull it apart and place it back together, no glue. Hope you see something that can help, or ask me for more. Cheers! -

Thanks for that about the wheel covers. I do have that kit in my basement, and I can take pictures of anything you want, just let me know. -
I love those interior additions, they really help those ridiculously shallow molded panels. Cut the seat down the middle is also a must do, nice!

No wheel covers in this kit. My thinking is that they make the more formal 4 door look more classy. The exposed wires might suit the sportier coupe, so why not make the switch! Neither model is in my near future though. Keep in touch, if I die soon you can have both kits! LOL -

Thanks David, I also have this one and I'm thinking of the full wheel covers for the 4 door without the whitewalls, could be cool? -
I just like torturing myself! Really, I do think that the Mobius is more correct, and they're not quite the same size. I WAS surprised to see the different roof though, I actually and mistakenly, thought only the front clip would need to be changed. I did enjoy doing it.

I just found this one in my basement, after decades, a real barn find. LOL It needs a total restoration, so thank you for the guide! Yours is looking great! -

So did I, although I use the term "grew up" with some caution! LOL

At the front I drilled out the headlights and used parts box clear lenses over foiled "buckets". Remember that I scraped out between the bumper and grille, then I painted that flat aluminum. Here's the finished engine bay. And how I'll display it at our club meeting. That's about it! Cheers.

Sun visors made from 2 layers of .010, poor lighting makes it hard to see that one layer is slightly larger for an edge effect, never seen, but just a fun thing to try. the Savoy I just needed the tail lights, I'll use the Mobius bumper. Here's the look I was hoping for from the rear.
