  1. So it's 2024, a new year and I'm starting a new project. The new Tamiya kit of Gordon Murrays successor to the legendary McLaren F1! The T-50. It does have a weird rear fan, but otherwise the styling is quite pleasing, and keeping with the central driver and slightly pushed back, 2 passengers. I started with the engine, it's such a pleasure to paint and assemble, right out of the box! Each picture has a bit more added:
  2. Wow, now that's looking pretty great! Beautiful work on that ambitious project, almost finished too, WOW!!!
  3. This will be a cool hot rod!
  4. Nice project, off to a great start! Very cool mods.
  5. It looks extremely realistic! Fantastic job! Thanks for sharing all the amazing extra work you put into making it look so real!
  6. Very nice Mustang! A LOT of extra details, well worth it! Looks great.
  7. So I foiled the bed floor and added my bullet tail lights, and more or less, finished the interior. I can't get good interior pictures but you get an idea of what it looks like. It's Christmas day, so I'll not model today, but try for better pictures in a few days, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidaze!!
  8. Although I'm not finished with the interior, I decided to brush paint the wood bed floor. Foil to follow..............eventually! Cheers!
  9. I modified a heater from the Revell '40 kit. I made some straps to keep the doors from opening too far and made a basic gas pedal.
  10. These old trucks had "through the floor" pedals, but the kit had............. nothing! I made up some basic "through the floor" pedals!
  11. After cutting out the instrument cluster, I thinned the backside so my clear-decal-styrene "cluster" would be closer to the front. I drilled out the knobs and made a new radio blank-off plate. I thinned the kit steering wheel by about 50% then made a simple column from styrene rod and styrene tubing closer to the wheel itself. Here they are painted up.
  12. Awesome extra detailing, what a beautiful build!
  13. That does look good, those cars are cool!
  14. Just for fun, I used the front clip from a '50 Chevy pickup on another project, so what to do with the rest of the cab? I cut off a door and scratched up some inner door stuff from scraps...................................Just for fun!
  15. Wow this looks fantastic already Dave! Cheers eh!
  16. Dave I'm so glad that you're showing us how you built this amazing replica stock van! I love it!!
  17. I fitted an electric fan with motor (piece of sprue drilled for some wires). Started the tuck and roll interior. Stay tuned!
  18. Yeah, nice job of fitting that interior, wow, cool!
  19. I have the correct wheels if you want to pay for postage?
  20. Took the Ferrari to our model meeting today, so that means it's finished! Ciao!
  21. Wow, you've really done this kit an honor! I mean from a simple toy-like thing into a fully detailed and show winning model, sweet!
