  1. They've both got current plates & one of the workers at the yard said they were driven in.
  2. Went to the junkyard the other day & found these two strange looking vehicles.
  3. My Wife & I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary on Aug. 2. We renewed our vows at the Church we were married in.
  4. Trumpeters '60 Bonneville. I bought this when it first came out in the late 90's & it's still waiting to be built . My Mom drove one of these back in the mid 60's & I wanted to build it as a duplicate. Every time I break it out to start it I worry I'll screw it up so back on the shelf it goes for another time.
  5. I bought some of those anti foul tips & even those didn't help. A garage next to my job would give me the oil from oil changes He did each day.
  6. I've owned a few junkers in my time, but the worst has to be a '71 Chevy Impala I owned from Oct.'84-June'85. I only paid $50.00 for It & that was $49.99 to much. It averaged 6 mpg on the highway & 3 mpg in town. The engine went through oil quicker than I could put it in. My job was 9 miles from Home & I would have to carry extra spark plugs & change them when I got off work because the one's in the engine would get so oil fouled, clean the fouled ones when I got home & change them again. It had a beautiful body & interior & I actually sold it forr $125.00 to someone who put another drivetrain in it.
  7. I was super gluing a pliable part a few years back & when I let go some of the glue flipped up & into my eye. That took an emergency visit to my eye Dr. He put my head in a vice like contraption, numbed my eye & cut the super glue out. Not a pleasant experience.
  8. I average 1-2 hours a night after supper.
  9. I live in a town with a pop. of 600 & I wouldn't park it an alley behind buildings here let alone a big city like LA.
  10. My Brother got me this for $5.00. It's still sealed, has no bar code & the Kmart sticker says $2.67. Could anyone give me some info on this model? How old is It?
  11. has not set their status

  12. Here's something a little different. I never heard of this company until recently. They've got a few models I'll be getting in the future.
  13. You're welcome to use any of mine.
  14. Were supposed to get 6-10" starting tonight here in Northeast Indiana.
  15. I stopped at our local Big R store ( department type store ) to pick up a few things & decided to just look through their toy department. After two aisles of diecasts I'm ready to leave, that is, until I get about 1/4 way down the aisle. Unbelievably, the whole rest of the aisle was filled with scale models. Dozens of cars, trucks, planes, especially cars. All kinds of Testors bottle & spray paint. The manager told me they were trying them out to see how they sell. I let him know definetely has my business. This is a blessing. My nearest Hobby shop is in Ft. Wayne, a 90 mile round trip.
  16. My Mom stopped at a rummage yesterday & picked these up for me. Still sealed. What a Mom!
  17. I registered a couple weeks ago & got my Hemi in less than a week. There was no charge.
  18. Just south of Pierceton, about 45 miles west of Ft. Wayne.
  19. I just signed up with no problems & on my way to possibly my first deal.
  20. What a shame! I've owned quite a few Pontiacs through the years. 65 GTO conv, '67 Grand Prix conv., '62 & '63 Bonneville convs, '73 Grand Am & even a '60 Catalina.
  21. I use the Novus foam sanding pads. They usually come in sets of 6 pads. Grits start a lot finer, though, than you're looking for. They start at 2400, ending at 12000.
  22. I also would love to see a '62 Starfire Convertible come out. I owned one of these back in 1972. Junked it because the trnsmission went bad. What I'd give to own that car now.
  23. I'm to old for the wild parties myself. In fact I'll be in bed by 9:00 since I have to be to work at 4:30 New Years morning.
