    Pure Hell

Thanks Shane. Watching yer build, I got the impression you were making an accurate 1/25 replica of the 1/1 and even tho them front mounts 'look' skimpy, I figgered it was something they were trying, always trying new things 'n @. Didja ever get to see the 1/1 in action? oh, and btw, I figgered out (I'm assuming here) that the 'radiator' is actually the go juice 'tank'.......correct? Awesome car--awesome build!

    Pure Hell

Nice to see this done, Shane. I'm with Harry--them front engine mounts look awfully skinny fer such a big engine--could that be why it's called "Pure Hell", coz it's pure hell to drive? Love the paint, and all the details

    rat rod

SWEET lookin rat, Daniel! love all the little details, specially the valve stems in the rims!! wouldn't ya just love to drive it?
  4. tha's lookin wild dude! cant wait to see it up--and down
  5. tha's probly why you had that little episode o yers, Kevin, them bad shroooms. ya gotsa grow yer owns ifn ya wants to be evercool yeah, 84 & George, Keegan & me alredy warped each other . I got to hold the little dude when he was just bout 8 hours old. He looked at me, & I looked at him and we both said "WHOA!!!" Yeah, his mom, my dottr in law, won't even let me babysit him coz she knows we're bad news when we're togetter methinks it's one o dem Chinese Buicks George
  6. yeahman, me & George & sum 'shroooms.......likes crazy man Hey! What would we do without George?? HUH? Nice to have ya back wit us Georgie. Haint beend the same witout him, huh Gramps I beend tryin to spend some time wit my Li'l T, 84, but as usual I got started on somethin else. Finally got my grandson a pedal car--the real deal---steel, well, maybe tin or cheap steel, but its steel metal not that crappy stryenre stuff -- (OOOOOPs, sorry guys, guess we work with the stryerne stuff huh?) got a bit more incentive to get his ratty pedal car done, before he grows outa it widdout even gettin in it!
  7. well boyz & goilz, since Jairus was so kind to give us all a root tootin tutorial on makin Zoomie headers, I figgered I oughta give em a try. Now I likes my heavy metal & hardcore real freakin loud , and aint no way I gonna have no Zoomie inkerferin with my musak, so I made these headers to be collected into a big honkin (scale 8" ) straight pipe what's gonna hang from the headers to the rear end and then just for giggles I decided to open up the grille shell and detail that a bit--big mistake! Guess I keep fergittin that this is 1/32 scale . At least I'm keeepin to my wantin to gluebomb it. I did clean it up and 'welded' the radiator to it. Pray that I get the other set of headers done coz I perty sure I can start paintin then and get this thing done!!
  8. me too! I wanna make one too! I LOVE COE's, specially chopped ones, but that crewcab is one cool lookin ride -- wonder what kinda chicks you could pick up wit dat?
  9. Postin up some pix for my buddy Eshaver, whose computer blowed up. He took these pix with an antique camera. Jimmy Flintstone '57 Suburban was at the IPMS 2007 in Richmond, Va 1970 Ford C-600 tanker, also at the same show. When I first saw this here first pic I was tempted to send it to Harry P, the "Real or Model?" guy --I thought it was a 1:1 that Ed used for reference any questions, post em to Eshaver, hopefuellie here. I believe he's borrowing someone's computer to stay in touch
  10. Scott, Scott, Scott...........dude, yer supposed to 'blow the doors off' the other guys ride--not blow yer own wheels off!! Wow! Awesome work--so aerodynamic Aint it nice to be an uncontrollable scratcher? just aint enuff hours in the day sometimes
  11. Wow, Scott! I'd love to see this comin at me! Real eye candy! Awesome headers--love how they just skim the blacktop
  12. Wow! outa this world, Ed! When did Shell have these? Love all the little details. What is the carport lookin thing here? and what're them wires doin hangin out back? you gonna light the place? Nice work!!!

    George53

Yeah, I was wonderin Clay. Thought maybe he and his wife went on vacation. Did he get zapped by lightning? (not George!! I already know he's been zapped a few times ) Did his computer get zapped in a storm or sumthin?
  14. Hey, we'll miss ya man..... Ya gotsta do what ya gotsta do. Hopefuellie we'll all be here when ya comes back. Inna mean time, take care and God bless.
  15. Thanks buddy! , but since I can't imagine either one of us lettin the air outa our own tires --I'll do yours and you can do mine! Deal? (at least that way yer old man can't get mad at you!)
  16. what the..... ........AWB -- Kustoms...... Come on yinz guys! I'm already crazy enuff- -this is just too weird!! Florian!! do something!!!
  17. Can't wait to see 'em! Thanks fer startin it, Florian
  18. Thanks Jairus! I wasn't sure about that myself , been makin up some stuff along the way here just based on my limited knowledge and experiences with the 1:1s. I was just about to drill another teenyweeeny little hole in the top of that 'Magneto', so thanks again--whew!
  19. VERY NICE Nova!! Ya sure got me with that one Jairus-- I do believe I'm totally awake now!
  20. Lookin GOOD Matt! Hard to imagine a Willys without a blower stickin up thru the hood, aint it? Hard to think that they were just a 'car' way back when
  21. Hey Florian, yeah, there been times I thought bout torchin it but I can't do dat! The cool part is I'm havin a blast workin on it, but at the same time I do wanta getter done so's I can get back to my other builds--just gotta figger out how ta stay away from my LHS in da meantime
  22. gettin some bodywork done on the Li'l T. at 1/32 scale it aint very big. cleaned up the windshield frame so it don't look so clunky-- CAUTION! FRAGILE! was gonna chop a couple inches offn it, but it's hot and I gotsa headache and I sees I gotta do some puttyin. gonna be a bit of a challenge to paint ifn I wants it to be more'n one colour--plannin on anodized purple fer the body parts and white intereior, silver firewall? ragtop needs a bit of adjustment, little too narrow to fit on the outside of the tub -- and to help with installing it after the body is all painted I decided to add a bit of the pivot detail and throwed a couple struts in too. The big honkin hunka spreu is gonna be sliced after a couple months of dry time to just a lot mo thicker than any PE stuff, then hopefuellie I can drill thru the pivot disc (shown abstractly here) into the body, insert a pin for the disc to actually pivot on, but moreso as a locater/installation pin, so's part of this can be considered a snap together
  23. Showoff! very nice flourish there at the end Jairus--the sparkly reflection on the end of that cool zoomy Thanks, I needed that. I'm going to build a set of headers for my Li'l T (Little T, Big Wheels- on the workbench) in 1/32 scale. Wish me luck. I was gonna just do straight pipes utilizing the insulation of the wire for the open ended pipes. Just may do that on some future build. I'm thinkin some carefully applied heat to the insulation 'open end' of the pipe and something stuck in it to flare it would work as well. However, I shall defer to your excellent tutorial here for now and proceed with glee . I shant be using any of my paintbrush ferrules (shame on you! and you call yerself a artist?! ) however as I'm 'collecting' the headers into some big honkin pipes that're goin back behind the tub of the Li'l T. Some other time I shall sacrifice a brush or two, coz the ferrules look waaay cool. Loved em on yer RatFinky VW slotty

    32 Roadster

Dude, no wonder yer in a slump! Looks like you wore yerself out on this one! and yer probly thinkin that ya can't top this! NICE build--just has a look of POWER to it. Don't worry bout the slump, you'll recover and then 'LOOK OUT FORUM--HERE I COME!'
  25. Congratz Clay and Andrea--she's a cutie! Very special time. My son is 30something, so it's been awhile, but about four & a half years ago, my grandson Keegan was born. I got to hold the little dude when he was only bout 30 hours old--definitely freaked both of us out--me and Keegan. And we're still doin that Enjoy the hell outa both yer kids and may God bless all yinz.
