  6. Hey Flow, b-day was somewhat kool. I was standin in the hot sun collecting donations from peeps drivin into a Regatta (water events at a lake) for the outdoorsy club I belong to. The Rodfathers had a cruise there, and I got to see up close & personal--and hear!-- all kindzsa kool rods on their way in, like a '48 Chebby sedan delivery rat with lakes pipes, a way chopped ratty 35 li'l pickemup that was only an inch off the road! this so totally whacked old GTO on a 4x4 frame--I hadta reach up over my head to get the dude's cash, all the 55s, couple 57s--all GMs with xcelllent paint and they all sounded awesome. One guy in a Chebbelle was sittin there in line power jackin & chirpin his meats - I tried ta git him to do a burnout, but he were chicken , and then I comed home to all ya'll wishin me a HBD! so it were kool. Later.
  7. Love yer Chevy, Robert, specially the colors--NICE. thankx for the inspiration, time wize. I gotta start doin some 'fun, quick' builds, at least a little 'quicker', and get some on the shelf . Thanks fer showin us that a decent rod can be done in not a whole lot of time, with the 55 and the 32
  8. hereyago dued... I cut from right behind the front wheel back to about the middle of the door? so's ifn ya had another body you could whack. I also darkedend it a bit so's you can see it li'l better. I think I'm likin it
  9. yo Eric, first time I ever bein called a 'guru' Thanks! anyhows, while I were messin with your chebby, I was thinkin on mine, and thought a nice low chop and a taildraggin stance, and ya can't be draggin tail wit no open rear wheels, right? zat what yer speakin on the "with the rear fender well closed up"? love the old fat fenners wit the skirts (uh, never mind..I were gonna say sumpin else bout skirts, but....) gettin back to the subjek at hand--cant magine skirts onna 66, but I'll hafgta see whatem look like
  10. Tanks Kev, glad yer still here to keep yer scope--I mean yer eyeball on me I gotsa stay with them shuroommins coz anyting stornger than that sweet Milwakuee brew rips on me belly, least when me head stops hurtiin enuffs ta feels me belly

  16. It am tuff, Joe....takes awhile fer me old eyeyeballs to rejust . One thing I'be lerned is not to poikem funz at them donkers, and I can'ts waits to pllumb a reglur size enjine, 1/25 ya know? an fer scratcchbuildy headaers?----form now on-- Straight 6s!! tanks fer hangin in there wit me on this guyz

  18. Got all excited this morning, coz I be finally sprayin the Li'l T-- MAN, what a differnce paint can make! after squirtin the chasssis, I reached for the board with the wheels, ragtop, and body, on it so's I could squirt them, and &^%**$ $#^%!!!!..... I dropped it! breaking the windshield posts--- &^%**$ $#^%!!!!..... might just hafta chop it..... lookin a little mean now kinda how I be feelin
  19. Nice job, Jerry . Gotta give ya credit for workin with the 1/32 scale. I'm tryin to stop addin little details to my 1/32 "Little T, big wheels" (on the workbench) . Like the Pyro, this Lindberg 1/32 '25T has no chrome in it, but what amazing detail on the Caddy engine in it. I'm gonna hafta try a couple of the other 1/32s Lindberg puts out, maybe make a tail dragger outa the 49Merc. I'll have to see ifn' I can't find one of these 52 Wagons--it'd look perty good with a chop
  20. worked my butt off today trying to make some progress on this here Li'l T. (sure didn't start out this way ) found a couple old ball pointy pens what looked like good headlight buckets, so I whacked em gotta get this done and move up to a bigger scale almost sanded my pinkies off scratchin these here head eim off lights as ifn that wearn't bad enuff, just had to put little curlycue brake lines on the scratchy master cyelinder after setting the bug eyed rad shell in place, seen it needed a hose, so grabbed a hunka sprue and started carvin then while tryin to work with the first set of headers, they fell apart on me , but worked out fer the bests coz I comed up with a mo better header systiem fer makin the other set. Man, I hopes tha's bout it fer the little old details --I wantsta start paintin
  21. Good luck with finishing it within the next week or so, Bernard ! Always look forward to your builds--they're so informative, and so cool how you like to model the 'little guy' or the roots of the rod. Lookin forward to it. Awhile back I picked up this kit and a Ford Focus--not sure how those two are gonna be combined, but fer sure the digger aint gonna have the Focus wheels and tires on it!
  22. wheW! man, George, ya had me wonderin there fer a few --seen yer post to Danny Gabriels awesome woodey rod and I cood acktully unsderstand ever word ya sayed!! I was wonderin ifn' ya was awake yet! SHroOms--the brekfest o campions!!!

  24. trimmed up the coat hanger headers coz I was thinkin of usin some corrugated 'pipe' to direct the Caddy smoke out back, but once I seen it up close like , I decided on usin just big honkin straight pipe started cleaning up the body more serious like and natcherlee, just had to start some other little detail--a master cylinder fer them 30'' rotaters , and since I'ma gonna be sprayin and brushin differnt colors on that little body, I needed an edge fer the firewall, so's I whacked a hunka .010 styreen and welded it in place, kinda like the body wrappin itself around the firewall. While it's settin up, I gotta go mow
