  1. I am an RV technician of over 21 years. I had a customer bring in a big fifth wheel travel trailer with a huge hole in the front, fiberglass cap. They had hit a deer so hard, it flew up, over the truck and went right thru the front wall of the trailer!!!!! The lady had pics of the deer laying in the hallway just outside the front room of the trailer!
  2. Do the instruction books that come in some kits, count? I just read the whole instruction book from my meng dozer kit!
  3. Always good to see guys like you (and me) buying these kits two and three at a time. Helps keep truck modelling alive!
  4. Thanks for the kind words, guys!!!!!!!!
  5. Oooh, that looks good!!!!!! I want to build the Trumpeter ALF in lime green with these wheels! Now I know how they'll look!
  6. It seems to be a bad time for model kit purchases right now! Kits that mormally sell for 100.00 on Ebay aren't even getting 40.00! I have a bunch of kits on Ebay with really low starting bids and no reserve and I haven't even had a bid on some of them.
  7. I thought this was going to be about the Revell 1990 LX.
  8. Good news (finally ). I finished up the interior panels for my 76 WT9000 kit and the real sleeper wall is being made in brass photo etch right now. The brass piece will be glued to a piece of .063 styrene that makes up the rear wall of the new interior and will feature raised letters naming all the famous mountain passes. New pics here: http://www.public.fotki.com/lotso/ford-wt9000/
  9. I mastered that 76 LTL 9000 as well.
  10. I have a custom model box that I had made and I would like to have it shrink wrapped to help protect it. Does anyone know what type of a place would do that?
  11. Jamie has that super single wheel and it uses the same high float tire you see in the above pictures where it has my five hole in it, but we don't have any tires cast up right now.
  12. Hi, no I'm sorry we don't offer a 15" four hole "dually" type wheel but Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland has some. I think Modelhaus might sell some and the Monogram/Revell Ford F-350 dually has them in the kit. Hi Gordon, no we don't have anything that small, sorry.
  13. Those look really nice!!!!
  14. These are wheels and tires I mastered and sell resin copies of. Top left is a 17.5 two hole with six lugs, top right is a 17.5 two hole with ten lugs. Lower left is a 15" three spoke. Lower right is the Goodyear tire found in MPC, ERTL and the newer AMT re-releases to use for size comparison.
  15. I don't jump through hoops. I'd get stuck!
  16. Very cool!!!!
  17. I always warm my cans up by placing them in hot water, pulling them out a few times to shake them up.
  18. You are the Lego truck master!!!!!!!! You should make a video of the truck in action!
  19. If Moebius made it, I'd buy a few for sure even though I have every W900L related that's ever been made in resin. Even making a midroof, daylight door cab/sleeper myself. I also think a very detailed, VERY ACCURATE, 379 Peterbilt would be a huge seller!!!!!!!
  20. LOL, didn't notice that post was two years old!
  21. No offense taken here, I hear that quite often. Let me ask you this, have you ever seen a really cool kit that was released years ago and now, if you could find one, you would pay 20 times what it orignally cost? That's why I grab every kit I can, when I can. They don't all "have" to be built but it sure is great to have a project come to mind and have the kit you need, right at your finger tips! Not only that but I have found that kits are a good investment. I always try to buy two of every kit so that I could sell one later if I need extra money.
  22. Cool, I was hoping it would be the 106! Not big on the 120.
  23. Wow!!!! That looks great!!!!!
