Oh great, is that the way videos are headed? They'll post something you want to see and then hold you hostage until you pay to see the conclusion. Disgusting!
A friend of mine that lives on my street recently bought an all original, almost perfect 69 long bed. He said it's a little more rare than most as it has a 360 with factory AC and power steering. I'm gonna go crawl all over it with my camera and get pics for super detailing these new kits!
When you say "clay" do you mean something you can apply and then remove? If so, then you'll want to use "floral clay". It doesn't leave a greasy film on your parts. It's kind of a "dry" clay.
I knew that Dyno Don Mustang II wasn't supposed to sit as high as it does when built from the kit! If I ever get around to building the one I have, this video will be a big help in getting it to sit right! I bet the wheels and tires you make would make it look a hundred times better as well!
The master for these was printed on a 3D printer. They are then cast into rubber resin with perfect tread all the way around with no sign of a "casting pour spout". They are a direct replacement for the Moebius tires as they are the same ID and OD. Here's how they look on a Moebius wheel and one of my Two hole drive wheels.
I agree!!!!!! Joseph is outstanding to deal with!!!!!!!!! I'm VERY happy with his service and hope he keeps making parts for a LOOOONG time! We need more guys like him!!
Hi Hessel, yes, please convert it to 1/25-1/24! That would save me from having too (if you had it cast into resin). That is what I had planned to do when all the parts are finished on this1/35 version.
I bought two of these new Meng Cat D9R dozer kits as I wanto build one as is from the box to use as a load on my Hobby Boss M1070 transporter kit and the other I am turning back into a regular D9R dozer. In progress pics can be seen here:http://public.fotki.com/lotso/meng-cat-d9r-dozer-/?cmd=manualsort
