  1. come on over and have a look! We have wheels, real rubber tires, all kinds of great resin parts and we will soon be adding two more lines of really awesome parts!!! Be sure to check in often as the site is about to get a big update with lots more great stuff!!! http://bwicke9.wix.com/class-a-resin
  2. Nice to see someone new offering really great stuff. I hope you do well! Gonna need to get me some of your Stemco hubs! Yours are better than mine!
  3. Gary Blizzard brought those all back!
  4. Moebius are foolish not to tool up a set of ACCURATE two hole budds, this is the most commonly used wheel in America. If they offered them in a separate set like they are offering the ten holes, they wouldn't be able to keep them on the shelves. Hell, I'd buy twenty sets myself and I already make two hole budds! The fact of having them in styrene over resin makes it worth it. The key thing here is they would have to be ACCURATE!!!! I have spent many years studying every curve and contour of the real wheel and have incorporated this into the masters I make. Sure, coming out with this would take away all my sales of two holes but the main reason I made them in the first place was to help my fellow Modelers. Moebius would just be taking over for me.
  5. HobbyTowns prices are too high even with a coupon! Michaels is ok but they don't stock truck kits very often. Hobby Lobby is your best bet! They stock like 6 different truck kits and always have a 40% off coupon! Sometimes they have a 50% off coupon!
  6. We sell a reversible PTO unit that mounts to the side of the transmission. We also sell high float wheels with real rubber high float tires. Have a look at our site. http://bwicke9.wix.com/class-a-resin
  7. Those were known as "wedge" brakes. They were used on some 60's-70's trucks.
  8. I've bought three Peterbilt 359 little window kits and two of the Ford race car hauler kits from there in the past two weeks!
  9. That is correct. Usually there are two rubber straps that protect the vehicle but I'm sure with a semi truck, there is too much weight involved.
  10. The cable lifts up on the lower tow plate and pivot bar, chains would be hooked to the frame or axle of the truck to be towed and then attached to the tow plate. When the cable pulled up on the two plate, it would pull up on the chains, lifting the truck.
  11. I really like that box art, Sven!!! Great job!
  12. looks like MCA (Michael Cherry) in Australia might be the only one making them at this time. The only way I know how to get his parts is though KFS in England.
  13. Whoops, just saw that your in Australia, never mind.
  14. Hi Ben, I wish I could have caught you before you ordered your kits from Drake. I have applied to be a retailer for their products and my intention is to sell their kits for a little less than it would cost for you to purchase from them directly at retail, considering shipping and all.
  15. Dave, i dont know if you know of my involvement in the model truck hobby but I have been a major player for many years now so I have a very good grasp on what would sell well. I would be willing to bet that if Moebius were to produce a kit, an accurate kit of a Peterbilt 379, it would end up being the best selling model truck kit ever produced, hands down!
  16. Looks great! Nice job!!!!!!
  17. I have a decal set specifically for the Moebius Lonestar/Prostar and Maxxforce engine. Please look in the decal section of my website under "Products". Http://bwicke9.wix.com/class-a-resin
  18. They are a very simplistic rendition of a a ladder type chassis and V8 engine. The wrecker bed is kind of toy like but useable. The tires are hard, solid vinyl typical of the late seventies, early eighties Revell kits.
  19. I really don't see them offering any other trailers that what they offer in real life. Remember, this is a real trailer manufacturer that's having these kits made as promotional items, they are not a model company. I have applied to purchase these kits in batches at wholesale. I am not sure if I'll be able to for sure or not but if I do, my intention is to offer them for sale for less than you would have to pay to purchase them from Drake directly and pay shipping from Australia.
  20. That is awesome and what is a real shame is that I make the exact wheels you needed! Not just for you Defiance truck but for all the others you built as well! I make the Truck Mate five holes and the chrome plated two holes that Tyrone used on all his rigs. You can buy them here: http://bwicke9.wix.com/class-a-resin. There's more pictures in my Fotki albums www.public.fotki.com/lotso
  21. Wow, really, I figured 2011-2012. They haven't changed a lot (in my eyes) in the past 6 years or so so I couldn't tell. I wonder why they chose that time period? Seems like they would have shot for a 2014??
