    I have turned some bottle stoppers out of paint.Friend of mine owns a body shop and pours unused and mismixed paint into dixie cups for me.

    Thanks guys,I will ask about that solder and rustle up some brass supply's.

    Is easier to solder/braze? I need to scratch build a few things and not sure if I should use aluminum or brass and if I use brass what do I use for flux and filler? I am assuming I would use solder and electrical flux for aluminum?

    I do this too but with parts also.I will start a kit and the sideline it after a while go back and say what the %*$#* was I thinking.

    In our town (Rochester NY.) we had a Pontiac agency that sold Pontiac's as well as GMC and Jaguar.

    I get caught up in the detail it to the max but lately I been just the basics.My models get put in a showcase and put on a shelf and so nobody's going to see any of it. It is also hard to do with my health issues so just the basics mam just the basics.....

    I have a question about Testors one coat lacquer.I used this on the roof of the car I am building.There is over spray on the lower body an I need to ask if regular automotive lacquer in a spray bomb is to hot to go over said over spray.Use what I have or wait a few weeks till I can get a can of one coat?What do ya think?

    I would like to finish a few that I have started.These kits are 64 Chevy super shaker, 62 Pontiac,41 Willy's,68 Hemi Dart among others.With my mind set and dexterity in my hands,some times all I can do is sit and stare at them.Doing the small bits is some times just impossible.

    I work in the spare bedroom in our apartment but I share my model area with my woodwork stuff.The shelf in the closet is full of kits.I also have to share the closet with my lathe and tooling.

    As I get older it is easier for me to walk away and buy nothing.I dont know if I am getting cheap in my old age or if something else is happening.When I was at H L I stood and looked and looked but just left and went home with nothing.This the second month I did this. My wife thought I was sick.

    Anyone notice it looks like the wheels are on wrong on this truck? It looks like the wheel on the front has the floating hub and the rear is long and narrow like for a locking hub.
