  1. Really nice. I like SHINY :)
  2. That's a nice build. Keep it going.
  3. Looking good, and SHINY :)
  4. Thanks, guys. That hood kicked my butt.
  5. Here's some pics of my latest build, a Revell 1986 Chevy Monte Carlo. It's painted in Testors Lime Ice with Testors Green Go stripes. After the clear dried, I sanded, polished, and waxed. I tried to graft a Corvette cowl induction center section to the hood and used a set of wheels from the parts bin. Engine is wired & plumbed.
  6. I grew up in Berwyn. After the military I kept moving west - Westmont, Downers Grove, Warrenville, Winfield, Wheaton, and was living in Aurora when I decided it was time to move to Florida.
  7. I like the Bug. Well, I like the Nova too. Welcome to the forum.
  8. Looking good. Can't go wrong with SHINY :)
  9. Sweet build - and SHINY :)
  10. Bright and SHINY :) . I like it.
  11. My prayers and thoughts for sure, Terry.
  12. Just amazing work, Dominik. Appreciate the surfboard tutorial.
  13. It's 6:17pm here right now and I'm going to mix my 2nd Jim Beam & RC cola now. Have a great evening.
  14. Now I remember, Lee Majors. He had something going with Farrah Fawcett. I sure don't remember him as Captain Kirk though. The real truck was black?
  15. Those pics are of much nicer Hudson's than the other post about Hudson's. That grey one looks like it has the headlight bezels and grille from a '57 Olds.
  16. That was in the background of your Vickie, wasn't it? I meant to ask about it. Looks good.
  17. Looks like you're on the right track. Should be cool.
  18. You guys can love it all you want. I think it's ugly and can see why Hudson's aren't made anymore.
  19. SWOOP?? What the heck is swoop? Maybe Dr. Cranky took an overdose of vitamins. The rake, top & framework, recessed tail lights & license plate look terrific.
  20. They look good. Have you heard about using aluminum tubing shaped like an airplane wing for Flowmasters? The tubing can be hammered into an oval shape and Evergreen added to either end.
  21. A 1 year quick build? Your '57 looks wonderful, Niko. I was following along in your WIP and the finished product is wonderful. I like SHINY :) One thing though - the 3 little fake vents on the fender had a brassy anodized kinda look to them.
  22. Looking good, Chris. I kinds, sorta remember The Fall Guy. Was it the same actor as the Bionic Man? I don't remember his name.
  23. Dominik - please stop posting your builds/dioramas. I can't stand it anymore. Unbelieveable details in books, aquarium, etc., etc. I wouldn't be surprised if you said the TV works. Unreal and beautiful. But I have a bone to pick with you. If you were in FLA, why didn't you stop by and say hello? How did you do the water and the surfboard?
  24. I like where your build is going, Jeff.
  25. Looking sweet. Hope it'll be SHINY - please?
